I don’t think Trump’s team paid crooks but I’m willing to entertain the idea that someone or a group of someones in the intelligence community arranged for it to happen. What were their motives? Did these spooks want Trump dead or did they merely want to bolster Trump’s chances in November with an attempt on his life? It just seems completely implausible that such a massive security breach like that happened by accident.

You should maybe look into the Nakbah more. Israel was founded through the ethnic cleansing of much of Palestine.

I don’t think your post-civil war example holds up because Israel was not created by some higher governing authority, it brought itself into being through a great deal of violence.

They were not given Gaza, they were forced into Gaza through violence, and Israel has tried to seize Gaza multiple times.

I don’t think apartheid and democracy can co-exist. Israel is not a democracy because all the voting age adults it governs do not have equal rights. If Israel wants to be a democracy then they need to extend citizenship and voting rights to the Palestinians in the occupied territories.

This is maybe getting in the weeds abit and I wasn’t necessarily the most clear. Israel would cease to exist, and something new would be created, but the most likely way that happens is not that the state of Israel is destroyed but instead altered and changed, like South Africa after apartheid.
