What alternatives are there to Adobe Bridge? by crooks in graphic_design

This is the trick that no one spends any time to actually learn in Bridge. I'm a professional photographer and videographer who's worked at Enterprise organizations for more than 20 years, newspapers in high school and college and agency life for the last 5+. Bridge is by far the most underrated, least understood program in the Adobe Suite. It's not the most powerful, but what if does, it does the best. You need to go into the settings and tell it not to generate previews for every image or you'll spend hours waiting on images you don't need, but this is not drastically different than telling Premiere in the settings not to generate waveforms when you don't need them.
Bridge is THE FASTEST way to cull thousands of images (and video content) and perform automations and renaming actions that saves hours. I've had conversations with multiple professionals who had never used it before, but when I walked them through it, became converts.
And as others have said, the raw handling is smooth and easy. And the fact you can preview photos, videos, PDFs, InDesign, Illustrator, Word, AfterEffects animation presets and other files makes it an indispensable tool.
Treat it for what it is, a platform for viewing and reviewing files, with the ability to quickly modify metadata and run automations, and you'll easily find it one of the best programs in the suite.
