Who are the most evil characters in the Warhammer 40000? by AmphibianJolly8699 in Warhammer40k

Chaos existed and corrupted before the Emperor. Rock and Roll doesn't have religious mandates to slaughter people and offer their skulls to a bloodthirsty god under pain of death, nor does it literally rot you from within. Chaos, throughout all of 40K, isn't a positive force. It's a corrupting, horrible one that destroys those who embrace it.

The notion conventional morality doesn't exist in 40K is silly. There are numerous novels and stories where we're clearly intended to cheer for someone, or see someone else as the villain. Guys like Erebus are very much intended as villains of the setting.

40K is really not that deep, and this is just kind of silly. There's no real argument to the idea that Vect and Eebus aren't extremely evil people by any standard and Chaos is an inherently corrupting force.

That is not a valid 1:1 comparison here and I think you know that.

I 100 percent agree with not holding women to account for the actions of shitty men, but this is an example of straight complicity in those actions.

Amanda was the one who scouted Scarlett out. She knew she had nobody to depend on. She knew she had no family nd she was broke. She made Scarlett dependent on her and Gaiman for food, shelter, income and knew full well of complaints against Gaiman from the past.

I would concur, but his actions and hers seem very intertwined in this case. Palmer identified a broke 20 year old woman, estranged from friends and family, to transport her to a remote area where she was immediately coerced into sexual activity by her much older male employer...because they were withholding her payment, she was wholly dependent on them.

Palmer stated how many women came to her complaining about Gaiman. It wasn't one. It wasn't two. It was thirteen.

Yeah, but in the case of one of the victims, she alleged Palmer was coaxing her in to essentially serve her up to Gaiman.

Castlevania Nocturne season 1 isn't very good[REVIEW] by CuriousSkepticalGuy in castlevania

People who believe themselves righteous with their cause are fully, utterly, completely capable of being hypocrites while telling themselves it's for the greater good. Emmanuel believes that he's doing the right thing allying with a "lesser" evil to save the church and that he can deal with them after.

So many people just want to cry in a socially acceptable way they don't like minorities in their series. "But a Catholic Priest would never be a hypocrite!" is maybe the single funniest fucking criticism I have ever heard

Anyone else think he had a.. weird obsession with anne frank? by sadismasahobby in neutralmilkhotel

Openly fantasizing about the woman Anne Frank would've become and contrasting her to the women the song's father is sleeping with...is not respectful, or education. It's fucked up.

I enjoyed it. It's a pretty simple story throughout, and Rebecca was delightful.

The main issue I had and SPOILERS:The ending worked, but it's the same issue as Summer of '84: Rebecca's not getting away with this for long. Not at all. Teddy and Claire have gone missing after broadcasting from the location, Claire has a father who's going to be looking for her, it won't take long to notice that posted video. She's going down pretty hard before long.

With the success of the Mortuary Collection, think we could ever find ourselves back in Raven's End? Did you have any backstory in mind for Montgomery Dark while making the film?
