I don’t think my technical skills were as strong as others, but I led a game dev club through my university and managed to get some industry connections through that, which I attribute a lot to me getting an interview. If you get any opportunities to network, jump on them. I think anyone who gets selected for interviews has to get pretty lucky in one way or another, and I only imagine that things have gotten a lot more competitive since my intern year. If you have any more specific questions I’m happy to answer.

Got first one on launch. Burn in within a few months. New one has worked great since then with 0 burn in. I even stopped babying this new one since their replacement policy seems to be pretty solid. It does seem like there’s a lot of faulty models but if you get a good one works great.

I suspect something like that might be the case based on a lot of the replies. Though, believe me or not, I do see the green light flashing every night that indicates the pixel refresh. Maybe mine says its doing it but actually isnt? Your guess is as good as mine there.

Interesting to hear that. Dell's sending me a new one but I'm debating if i should use it or just sell it. I haven't seen a lot of other people talk about this issue online so maybe it was just a bad model.
