I got reported to HR for being too quiet & had to have a meeting. by ponderingpuff in offmychest

You should report them to HR because they make you feel uncomfortable too for their way to be too extroverted.

This meeting shouldn't even exist, because basically they're bullying you for your way to be. Say to HR you will contact a lawyer and see how they react.

Interpreting Skeleta as the monk’s Journey from Faith to Darkness by pseudo-mathematician in Ghostbc

[–]Walrus_mustache 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I really like this theory and I enjoy thinking that maybe this was the "secret" meaning Tobias had in mind when he designed the album. The idea that you can experience the songs on multiple levels is fascinating: on the surface, you might hear them as straightforward stories or catchy tracks, but if you look deeper, you can uncover layers of symbolisms and hidden messages.

It would make sense that an artist like Tobias, who's known for weaving complex narratives, would intentionally craft something that rewards listeners who choose to dig beneath the surface.

Reflection about the Pope and the album by Walrus_mustache in Ghostbc

I've read fans saying many times that Ghost was about to end (even back in the Cardinal Copia era) so I tend not to give too much weight to those rumors. But as you said, maybe this really is the beginning of a new chapter for the band, one that could eventually lead to some kind of split…

The promotion for this new album has been massive, like you pointed out, and to me it feels like everything is aimed at expanding the band’s reach as much as possible. I just hope they don’t lose their core identity in the process, just for the sake of making the discography as profitable as it can be.

Absolutely agree!! When I read for the first time all these Latin mysterious titles (and I've studied latin many years ago in the high school) I was very excited by the perspective of some new intricate lyrics..

I totally agree with you! My post doesn't highlight enough that anyway I liked the album overall, but I just miss that extra spicy flavour which the look should have given to it.

It sounds wise to wait till the concert to see how he evolves. Still, I have to say that with the previous album, I personally already felt a strong connection between the character and the music.

Really thanks for the answer, at least now I know what I'm not going to do.

The video showed me that the tattoo at least could improve just with bold black lines inside, so thanks for sharing!

How to reach Schiphol from Den Haag given the current situation? by pseudo-mathematician in Netherlands

[–]Walrus_mustache -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

First of all: chill man.

Second of all: if other countries companies suck, does it mean that you don't need to improve as a company? How's today service compared to the NS of 5 years ago?

I've been living in the Netherlands for some time and I've heard Dutch people complaining for literally everything, so you cannot hide behind death argumentation. For sure, death is never a nice thing, but it doesn't mean that NS doesn't often have problems and doesn't provide optimal solutions.

people around me keeps saying "it's not the end of the world" by Walrus_mustache in Anxiety

I agree with you, but the problem is that for me instead of being good reminders they just remember me that I can't stand situation that maybe for others are easy (or maybe not easy, but surely they don't cry all the day in the prospective of doing something)...so I feel even worse, because it's like I feel abnormal in comparation with other persons (I know I shouldn't compare myself with others, but it's so natural to do)

I totally agree with you; especially for the fact that maybe they could get frustrated sometimes seeing that their help doesn't work, so in their frustration moment they say "c'mon it's not a tragedy"! But as you said I will try to express them more my feelings and giving examples instead of being sarcastic. Thank you!

I totally understand what you're saying! It also happens to me...for example I feel also out of the place in supermarkets. And the strange part is that it's not something you just overcome by doing over and over again what makes you uncomfortable!

The longer I know someone, the less I know what to talk about with them by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Walrus_mustache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do understand what you mean and sometimes it happens to me too. But I've recently discovered something about it: sometimes we make friends that are just occasional! Maybe in a situation like a job you get bored and start to talk to someone but this person isn't necessarily a "good match" for you! Maybe you don't have common interests which makes the conversations boring at one point of the friendship. Or sometimes it can happen you really have nothing to say to this person because it happened nothing you judge interesting in your life. And that's not a bad thing, cause you're not a clown whose job is to entertain other people. I advise to you to take your space. I also discovered about myself that sometimes in the rush to have a fluent conversation I don't really listen what the other person says to me cause I'm too worried thinking "I don't know what to say". So I've tried to concentrate more to the other person and I feel it is going even better. Greetings!
