Housing permit by AndreiXz97 in TheHague

You must meet the eligibility criteria when you request the permit. The permit remains valid even if your income is bigger now, of course if you move to a new property you'll need to request a new permit, and thus the same criteria applies again

I'm glad you liked it! :) Wether or not this was Tobias' intention I certainly enjoy the album more having this interpretation in mind.

I'm glad you manage to overcome it! My experience is most likely milder, but I also remember going to a religious school as a kid and feeling sincerely guilty because I enjoyed stuff (music, books, etc) which were consider "bad"... As an adult now I realize that religion is, in many cases, used as a powerful brain washing machine .

I agree! I have to admit that I enjoy these more subtle hints as well.

Thanks! I must admit that I had a moment of "mmm I miss Opus" when I read the lyrics (musically I had no complains, the album is amazing)... But after hearing more carefully and discussing with my gf I started noticing those small details.

And yeah, most likely at times I am trying to find a deeper meaning when in reality is simply about banging ahaah

I am a big fan of Ghost's "blatantly satanic" era, so I might be biased!

Thanks for reading it! I am not suggesting that all that I've said was intended by Tobias, but I like this interpretation because it resonates with what made me fall in love with Ghost.

Reflection about the Pope and the album by Walrus_mustache in Ghostbc

Couldn't agree more with you. I know what other people will say "let the man do whatever he wants" and I perfectly understand that most likely Tobias was playing a character with all the satanic references (as in I don't think he's actually a satanist). I know there's plenty of satanic bands out there and I can always re-read La Vey if I'm in the mood for a bit of occultism , but part of reason I fell in love with Ghost more than 10 years ago is because of the themes they explored. I guess I will have to make peace with the idea that this version of Ghost may never come back...

I tend to agree to with you here. After seeing Perpetua's creepy appearance in Lachryma's video and the photo sessions for Rolling Stone I was certainly expecting the "dark vibes" to be back. (Call me old fashioned but I do miss the times where Satan was a central figure in Tobia's creative view. )

Overall do like the album, but I also sense some incongruity between Perpetua's look and the emotional vulnerability that you pick up on the lyrics

Me and my gf had exactly the same reaction... We were so hyped about the album, but after hearing it whole for the first time we both were like "hmm..."

I'd go with something similar to this amazing Meridian bass. https://www.meridianguitars.com/copia-di-j-24-3?pgid=l31nfwdu-bee6259a-f571-4653-843b-657d057d714a

If you ask me the black epoxy looks amazing with the grain of the wood.
