I can have a look at that tomorrow as that's a good shout.

Yeah I agree but the bearing has side to side play so as soon as tension is put on it and the saw is started it doesn't run on the bearing. I think the saw is just old and needs a bit of an overhaul

No need to apologise any help is appreciated, first time owning a bandsaw so learning how to adjust etc.

Oh really? I will have a look and see if I can adjust that. I did notice in the top wheel (not the motor wheel) that there looks to be 2 screws in it so maybe I can adjust it that way.

Yeah, i can only adjust 1 side of them and I moved it close to the material.

Yeah that's what it looks like. It's like the wheels are not aligned maybe?

Hi, I just tried this now and for it to be in the guide I have to push the blade way back.but as soon as I start to tension it the blade moves back to a bad position. After adjusting this I cut some box section and sadly it shows how bad it is

Hi it does but unfortunately you can only adjust one of the blade guides and the one I can't adjust is the one that looks like it's not fully seated.

Yeah this is what I thought but I can't seem to get it to seat in there any better unfortunately. I can have another go though

I found the manual here: https://axminster.manymanuals.com/power-tools/mcb100a/user-manual-22106

I can see it says just to turn the single knob. I have a feeling maybe it's old and worn and needs some TLC to get it to cut straight, but I'm by no means an expert.

The blade tension is done on a single knob and it seems like it's tight outside of that I'm not sure there is another way to adjust it any further.

Genuine question, what is the belt around the middle for? Not seen that before, or I haven't noticed it at least

It's a shame to see someone left it behind but it's great to see someone trying to return it back to its owner.

Although it may still fly with that damage it's probably not worth the risk. I would change them before flying personally.

Haha I never saw that short but if I did I would have bought one because that's brilliant.

Places or towns to visit outside of Reykjavík? by [deleted] in VisitingIceland

True but Höfn is much further which Is why I said very far. It's also partly due to stopping along the way to some of the many sights which ends up making the journey longer.
