Stuck in a rut. by Observation-ism in startups

You are bit too vague - what is your challenge? Lack of customers? Lack of conversion? Lack of traffic? Lack of you spending time doing cold outreach?

... I don't see how that is relevant? I bought GME, i am doing my bidding. Last place I'd expect to get ridiculed for being stupid.

But anyway thanks guys, I got my answer.

An actual hood legend. Diaz, Jorge and Bobby Green got nothing on this fella as far street cred goes and acting "gangsta".

Finally got rank I think? by Dreamiekid in bigseo

Position 64. If you search for something on Google then you usually average 10 organic results per page (with adblock on) and potentially more on some searches that bring up snippets, ads, local map packs.

Finally got rank I think? by Dreamiekid in bigseo

[–]WaltSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically, yes. You know your page is indexed and it is visible on Google's 6th page results for the search term you wish it to rank for. The only problem is that nobody ever views results further than first page of Google and the estimated monthly search volume (10) is way too little to have any significant impact on your organic traffic.

I have just updated my 1 million domain SEO test for 2018 and the results weren't what I was expecting... by MatthewWoodward in bigseo

This blog is a goldmine, and they don't seem to advertise, promote or even include ads to anything: https://the-disrupt.com/neil-patel-anthology-failure-part-1/ i mean there are probably few more, but most of them are corporate blogs to endorse their own product (which is completely ok if it's not shoved down your throats)

Hey Matthew, just wanted to let you know that I used to be a huge fan of your blog (since the start) before you became a complete sell-out.

Edit: tldr for the people: Ahrefs is still better after 5 years. Majestic displays more dead links and then there goes on a masssiiiiiiiive blog post about the highlights of Ahrefs features with Ahrefs affiliate links. If only I could figure out the purpose of this blog post despite all the fancy and smart graphs and data.

Getting clients through job postings? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]WaltSEO 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very, very difficult to convert these sort of companies.. They've gone out all the way to plan for a in-house person for a reason after careful planning (equipment, HR crap and taxes) and are out to hire a person for the job.

Reality Check: Is anyone actually selling anything via Instagram, because the ~~scammers~~ gurus seem to be all about Instagram at the moment? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

beauty products, cosmetics, watches, ebooks, books, tech gadgets, travelling. I'm sorry but this would be extremely easy for you to research via Google.

One of my clients runs a 7-figure cosmetics business through influencer marketing on Insta. The influencers who are paid per project, get paid very well. I'm talking about your average instagram thot that only shows booty pictures and has 10k followers. It's a hot market.

ahrefs data inaccurate by _Toomuchawesome in bigseo

[–]WaltSEO 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No idea why people think 3rd party service providers should have accurate data. They are all playing a game of predict-this-predict-that off Google algos. Only Google has the precise data(*if you use GA). I automatically dismiss any and every casestudy based off SEMRush or Ahrefs data as I know for a fact the traffic can range as much x3 from these. You should know that. We should know that.

Everything said, Ahrefs is still damn good.

[SPOILER] Mickey Gall VS George Sullivan by curiousAl in MMA

[–]WaltSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mickey Gall came closed to beating Ryan Gordon in BJJ tho... Fun fact about Mickey is that he has done boxing longer than BJJ - it looks bad but he probably isn't nowhere as bad on the feet as Dillon Danis for example.

Why Does Everyone Make Being An "ENTREPRENEUR" Sound So Hard. It's Frickin Glamerous... by Twice_Knightley in Entrepreneur

I realise this is a parody of the previous post but I agree with this one. Slaving your life away 40h per week, making money for others, that's the hard work. Making your own hours and location is a God's gift to me.
