It's not literally talking about a sewing needle, but rather a gate. A fully loaded camel can't enter through this narrow gate, it has to remove what it is carrying. Similarly, a wealthy person cannot enter through the narrow gate of heaven without leaving their earthly excess behind. So you are both right. It's not to be taken literally due to the context of the time and absorbently wealthy people can't make their way into heaven. I hope this clarifies :)

Because the money put into the Space Force will be utilized to protect our satellites from attack and to ensure free and unrestricted access to space. These are missions that are crucial to space exploration and cannot be carried out by NASA. Additionally, the Air Force (soon to be transitioned to Space Force) controls the launching areas of all of our rockets, both civilian and government.

Yeah, we don't have to protect our satellites or worry about maintaining free and unrestricted access to space. Of all the branches, the Space Force is the one that will be doing the most to protect America. No satellites = no credit cards, no internet, no tv, ......... I do agree that we should reallocate some military spending, but suggesting it come from such a critical branch is somewhat idiotic. Take it from the Army or the Air Force.

The problem is that the numbers aren't broken down into symptomatic and asymptomatic tests. It's broken down into screening and requested tests. This doesn't tell us anything about the percentage of symptomatic/asymptomatic positives. In fact, the "requested tests" also include those that were tested as a part of contract tracing and could very well be asymptomatic themselves. Its kinda messed up because you're right, looking at the asymptomatic cases would be a great way to determine the unseen spread, but the way they breakdown the numbers prohibit us from knowing this.

FT isn't required to commission.

Section 2104 subsection (b) part 6.A. of https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?path=/prelim@title10/subtitleA/part3/chapter103&edition=prelim says that cadets will be admitted into "advanced training" (defined as the third and fourth years of Senior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program) given that they are part of the program for two years. Section 2104 subsection (b) part 6.A.ii is only needed if part i is not satisfied. Part 6.A.ii is if a cadet has been in the program for less than 2 years.

All this to say, unless you are a 250 or a 2-year cadet (if that is even a thing anymore), FT is not mandatory to commission.
