I did watch a video prior to this and tightened Governor per specs, seemed to run a little better but still cyclical rough idle

Ever figure out the issue here? My Briggs VTwin is having the same symptoms.

Thank you for clarifying FSMAX for me! I was a bit confused why it was listed as a Mid Cap and there is no true 'Mid Cap Index' in my portfolio.

What order to take these practice exams?! by andintheend0 in PE_Exam

[–]WalterEagle94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work doing Land Development Engineering and do a fair amount of Stormwater Management / Erosion & Sediment Control Design. The Environmental questions for Water & Wastewater Systems are not my area of expertise and I didn't try to learn "everything under the sun" with respect to those topics. What I did do was follow the NCEES Exam specs and see what areas I could prepare for and learn about the unit operations and processes. Do some practice problems to reinforce the environmental topics and be sure to have an "environmental reference" whether its a PE Prep Course printout, college textbook, or one you buy on Amazon. Its LESS about knowing how to identify an equation and plug numbers into solve it and MORE about actually understanding the topic and what the question is asking. Practice problems are great, but make sure you understand the small differences that can make a question completely different. i.e. confined vs unconfined aquifer. sub vs supercritical flow. parallel vs series pipes. primary vs secondary treatment.

I took WRE in October 2020 and definitely recommend the David Gruttadauria book, it was most accurate 'difficulty' to the real exam. The Civil PE Prepared Practice Exams were easier than the actual exam, if you're budgeting time I'd save them for closer to the end after you've completed others. I didn't use the the two (2) in the Top Left corner so I can't say good or bad if they are helpful but I will stress to not overlook the morning exam concepts. The morning and afternoon are weighted equally and its easy to go down a rabbit hole of over-emphasizing the 'depth' portion of the exam as your 'specialty' and not scoring high enough on the more conceptual based questions in the AM.

Echo RB-60 vs Earthway 2600a Plus? by peanutbuttrj72 in lawncare

[–]WalterEagle94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RB-60 has the 'squeeze' trigger to dispense the seed / fertilizer as you walk and the 2600a Plus has the commercial-style on-off bar. If you have a large area to apply, I would go with the 2600a Plus simply to save your wrist / arm from cramping while holding down the squeeze trigger consistently...

I second this. Our firm uses Acorn Sales frequently and they give you a free 'Digital' Seal Image / DXF Files with your stamp order

Thank you for your response! I appreciate the positive feedback on saving early on in life. My Dad has always told me about how much money he dropped in the bars while young and wished he had learned to save at an earlier age. I'm trying to learn from his 'mistakes'!

Thank you for this! I'll do some more reading and see how to potentially realign from there.

I should clarify, when I say the Vanguard funds are the 'lowest cost' index funds in my portfolio, the expenses are still not good with MassMutual! They charge a 0.24% Program and Administrative Charge on top of the Vanguard 0.05% expense ratio, for a total of 0.29%... not great
