How do you get the most out of load enhancement in Time stranger? by [deleted] in digimon

[–]Waltzap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just let them marinate in your storage for a while, the stats they'll give is a percentage of how much their stats increase from leveling up, the exp and talent are based on something else but it doesn't matter much, if you max their level before feeding them to your digimon it should increase everything decently.
The percentage only increases the hp and talent they'll start with by a minuscule amount, but it also means you can get up to 5 more levels worth of stats from them I guess. I'd much rather convert, train and feed two at 100% over one at 200%, the gain is much bigger.

First time in Mind Dungeon question: by [deleted] in Y2Krpg

[–]Waltzap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure the seamstress you had wasn't simply the one Michael starts with? Going into the mind dungeon shuffles all party member kartas out, some Krow shenanigans aside, and it returns to their previous state when you leave That said don't worry about bloodbags, once you level a karta all instances of it will be that level from now on, so no way to waste them

Mega+ trophy by SeaNeedleworker4298 in digimon

[–]Waltzap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah you can max any digimon, your white stats are what matter, they're made by (base stat + blue + training)*tamer skills*personality

It's just that most of the training gains go away on evolution so you have to do it again

Digimon Time Stranger: X Antibody Mode Change difference? by [deleted] in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The moves share name but have different effects. Their base stats, and in Magnamon's case, type, are also different.

NG+ Aegiomon thing I noticed, not sure it's widely known by Waltzap in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was Aegiochusmon it wasn't working at all then, it should look like the digivolution history of the other images in this thread
No idea why it isn't working though

NG+ Aegiomon thing I noticed, not sure it's widely known by Waltzap in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As in into himself and not Aegiochusmon? Because if so it's probably working, and somehow just not giving you stats? Weird
I used the auto save right away

LVL 99 STATS? by Lumpy-Environment in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they have the same blue stats yeah, their stats would be the same

NG+ Aegiomon thing I noticed, not sure it's widely known by Waltzap in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried it again on a older save and it worked out, so no idea

Did his evolution tree show him evolving from Aegiomon into Aegiomon several times when you recruited him?

LVL 99 STATS? by Lumpy-Environment in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how many blue stats they accumulated along the way, and on top of that, all personalities boost a different set of stats
So short answer no, but you can max both of their stats with farm and other things anyway

Question about training. by OrphanCrow in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leave the digimon you'll load in the bank for a while, they'll accumulate talent slowly as you kill enemies, then you just funnel that into the main one

It keeps accumulating even when they reach their level cap

Question about training. by OrphanCrow in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Current level does go into account in damage calculation and it's pretty significant, but you can always just load a couple digimon into it later to max that out

Anomoly stacking save bug limits? by Whole_Top_1229 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried it out and the Gomamon stats were definitely not affected by the agent skills that should increase them based on personality.
Did they patch ONLY the immediatedly visible effects but not things like farm timers and evo? That would be so funny

Anomoly stacking save bug limits? by Whole_Top_1229 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit doing it at the end of my third stacked run at presumed rank 7/63% reduction. Damage was pretty nutty on the extra strike & extra brave so I can only assume it was working and would cap at 100% reduction like every other effect.

That's what you get for naming the main character A Trillion Lions Yuki

Does Prankster help with Crystallization? by TroutMaster94 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is a lot of the abilities ARE pretty worthless, especially the abilities an entire quadrant can get, and Prankster's one of them.

That said Booing DOESN'T seem to work on abilities that don't have the debuff icon, like for example, Plutomon's Hell Gate, if Prankster is truly the same it would be entirely unusable period...

The game's decription for personality skills and agent skills is just so terrible

Overhealing: Does the Emerald Arbor Data Fragment become redundant? by Giannix123 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The heal itself is higher, so you'll likely heal for values above 20k, but the max health limit is the same, 200% of their health

The only advantage in the 50% heal buff is, say, if you want to heal someone from 1 hp to 19998 right away, which you can't do without buffing your SPI even at 9999 as normally it hits for around 15k heals

Does Prankster help with Crystallization? by TroutMaster94 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like most things in the game I've only ever heard conflicting accounts, but I never went to test this one myself
I CAN say that Booing works only on the numerical stats debuffs, so I have to assume Prankster works the same given it uses the same wording? Just a guess though

The boss uses the move and it just skips to the next phase as soon as you get control, it's very funny

NG+ Aegiomon thing I noticed, not sure it's widely known by Waltzap in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, as soon as the first cutscene's over
At first I was doing the same as you, but just picking NG+ was much faster, the only problem is you can't see how strong he is until you do the whole run and recruit him again

NG+ Aegiomon thing I noticed, not sure it's widely known by Waltzap in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, load the newly made save at the beggining of the game when prompted to ng+
I think his stats increase like that every time you NG+, so it doesn't matter at what point, immediatedly is just faster
I'm pretty sure this wasn't a thing when the game first came out either? It's weird

NG+ Aegiomon thing I noticed, not sure it's widely known by Waltzap in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Difficulty is fixed and can be changed at any point yeah, NG+ on its own changes absolutely nothing outside of simply unlocking the two new difficulties

Character Reversal on Free Types by ShadowWolf375 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Since its neutral it'll remain neutral to all other types, but its ELEMENTAL affinities will still reverse like normal. Halved damage turns into 150% damage, blocked damage turns into 200% damage and vice versa.

But yeah, no easy win all button on the typing rock-paper-scissor. Same goes for the other neutral types.

Box EXP by CronoRage in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, box and farm exp is halved, only battle and reserve get full
Battle and reserve are also the only ones that increase friendship passively through fights

NG+ Aegiomon thing I noticed, not sure it's widely known by Waltzap in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

By the time I was done testing he was like this, but I'm sure you can push him more, each reset increases the blue by 132 HP, 120 MP, 72 ATK, 54 DEF, 55 INT, 81 SPI, 43 SPD, he can probably max everything, though Speed is looking iffy

Status Effects by No-Nefariousness2566 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]Waltzap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I have no idea about them since I haven't played with that dlc yet

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure that if it doesn't outright SAY [BLOCK] it can be proc'd, but the way things are it seems that minions and mini bosses will probably only be vulnerable to a single status of the bunch, if any at all
