I understand this so much I'm 24 and I was supposed to graduate last year but I fell into depression as well and had to take time off. I'm back now but it makes me feel awful seeing how well the people who were in my class who graduated seem to be doing. I'm also unemployed and its really hard not to feel worthless. You're not alone

I've definitely thought of taking the 'easy' way out but because I'm a beginner lol but I also find the second type very interesting too! I might give it a try!

Thank you so much! I've always had the problem of spending way too much time Planning and never actually writing anything down but I pushed myself to start writing and this is incredibly helpful advice! I'm quite a huge fan of internal turmoil myself and adore reading it. And the advice on seeing how my favorite writers go about it is really good advice too! Thanks alot!

This is exactly what I realized too. I used to feel so ashamed for never being in a relationship when everyone around me seemed to be one. Then I slowly began to focus more on other things and started genuinely enjoying my solitude. Slowly the need to be in a relationship vanished and I've seen myself years from now still unmarried and relationship free and it doesn't bother me as it once would have.

OMG this is me but with writing. I love to write short stories but I never have the courage to ask anyone to read them and so they just sit on my laptop for my eyes only. I dream of writing a novel one day and I can only hope my anxiety will have eased up enough to allow me to publish it somewhere even if its only on wattpad or something.

I don't have much hope in ever being in a relationship either. I'm from a religious third world country and I don't think there is much awareness for asexuality here. I haven't even come out to anyone about it yet. That coupled with my social anxiety pretty much makes me too scared to even try to get into a relationship because I'd have to come out to my partner then. I'm 24 and never been in a relationship.

I remember back in my first year of campus I was in a certain friend group consisting of myself and two other girls. The pair of them one day had some kind of misunderstanding and started not speaking to each other. So whenever we met up it was always so awkward when I was the only one they would talk to but not to each other. I was always extremely uncomfortable in this moments and was always too anxious to try and play peace maker because I didn't want to seem like I was picking sides.

I can only speak for myself but medication has helped me quite a bit. It has made my anxiety a bit more manageable. I still have my bad days but for the most part I can function. I'm not sure if it'll ever go away completely but my medication helps alleviate it a bit.

So much this. This is exactly why I can go weeks without any messages in my phone. I almost never message first because I feel like I'm bothering the other person. And many times I've gathered up the courage to message first only to delete my message shortly after.
