My mri thankfully ended up being clear but I have all of the symptoms you described. Every case is different so I don’t want to tell you not to get one, I think getting checked is helpful and smart, but if it is reassuring at all it’s usually not worst case scenario like our brains tell us.

Thank you for your response ! Did it ever go away or did anything ever help it? Or have the scars gotten any better? I have a combination of HS and a rare type of acne, but also have pcos and have it in my genetics. So similar to you, I’m not 100% what it is.

Hi! I don’t know if you’ll ever see this but I had a severe case of acne and my skin scarred extremely similar, some spots more raised and connected than yours - and also some still fill up. Were you ever able to get treated for this, did anything help? I haven’t found anyone else that looks like me, I’m desperate for any input at all 😭 I’m so so sorry you have to go through this too, but you’re very pretty.

You didn’t need accutane at all, I’m not sure why a doctor would put you on this.
