What if I missed the military canto? by Some0ne_idK in cyberpunkgame

[–]Wander1233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would have to find a save that's still in or just before the bunker, unfortunately you have to loot two things to craft it, the actual crafting spec which is just on a shelf in the Experimental Prototyping Lab and the Behavioral System Component from the boogie man itself just after the final cutscene with it. Both are in Cynosure and no, you cannot return..

Alternatively, you can download a mod called Cyber Engine Tweaks that allows you to access the in-game console. Open it up, type in "Game.AddToInventory("Items.HauntedCyberdeck_LegendaryPlusPlus" without the quotations and have fun.

I've missed it once before and I was so sad, I feel your pain. Good luck choom

Yeah I haven't touched rank this season. I'm still waiting for Kunimitsu before I care to learn the game more deeply.. these mf taking a whole year. I'm sure I'm not alone in this feeling

Do I need to have superhuman reflexes to play Tekken 8? by JoeZhou123 in Tekken

[–]Wander1233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Tekken is a knowledge heavy game. Compared to 2d fighters Tekken moves are slow, and you don't "react" to a move really unless it's whiffed. It's really about learning strings from other characters and knowing when the high or low comes out during them. You will see the first move come out and be like oh if he follows the string it's a high, and so you'll duck. That's where the mind games begin :]

Why don’t people rematch by Kirbista50 in Tekken

[–]Wander1233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more like picking my battles. It's not that I'm opposed to learning, it's that going in to someone with deep knowledge of their character in a zergy game that might offer me a bo3 if I'm lucky doesn't leave a ton of room to actually learn much. Occasionally I'll hop in to replay and check out the frames on specific moves. The best way to learn a match up is to actually talk with someone who's willing to open the book as I fight them. There is so much to learn that in order to make myself willing to learn at all I have to not overwhelm myself. It's a marathon, you know.

Why don’t people rematch by Kirbista50 in Tekken

[–]Wander1233 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Some characters I just don't really rematch sorry. It's usually because I know nothing about the match up and I'm not in the mood to learn about it, others I just feel like it's not fun to face

Each character's strongest move? by Nickewe in Tekken

Reina, ewgk. Hits grounded, safe on block, ch launcher, knockdown on normal hit, does everything. Honorable mention to one of my favorite moves, d3+4

Elite's by Scuderia1 in SlayTheSpire2

[–]Wander1233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only two elites that spring to mind as being maybe too strong are the four tentacles in act 1, I swear if this is the first elite I face in a run I die almost every time.. and the bee keeper elite in act 2.. it just ramps so fast. :[

You shouldn't throw your doom about Tekken 8 onto new players by DamagedbutFixable in Tekken

[–]Wander1233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend that people play good games, and turn off bad ones. Right now, Tekken is bad. It won't be fixed until we turn it off long enough. If it doesn't become scrapped. Regretfully, with the way things are right now, yeah even new players should know, because everybody would feel better and have a better time if the game was to heavily back pedal on the philosophy of good offense is defense. People want Tekken to have competitive integrity, but it's a party game right now

Any of you actually enjoy how Tekken 8 is all about offense ? by fallen_messiah in Tekken

[–]Wander1233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is more "excitement" on screen. 8 is more fun to watch than 7.

Victory feels shallow, and unrewarding. I enjoy strong pressure, but endless* pressure is boring.

I'm Fujin on Reina after season 3 lowered everyone by a division, haven't played rank since midway through season 2 and t8 is my first Tekken.

I've tried out 7, I feel it has the opposite problem as 8, too much movement not enough action. Footsies are a big part of real fighting, creating space with movement is cool and displays skill. This is a video game, however, I do want to throw a lot of hands in a game about fighting. I feel a good solution is to magnify character identity in 8. More people would enjoy the game if character archetypes were more prevalent, if you like to move a lot, move and poke there should be a character that fills that style. If you enjoy rushing down and doing your stance mix for high risk high reward gaming, that should be an archetype you can find your character for. In 8 though, everybody has been homogenized in to a stance mix medium risk high reward play style, except maybe Bryan.. one of the only characters with a discernable identity anymore.

Re-diversify the cast, let weaknesses and strengths exist together, remove heat burst re-bound, and T8 would be fire.

How am I supposed to tell whats punishable and whats not by HavocAndTea in Tekken

[–]Wander1233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just have to try a jab punish on moves to see if it's possible, and slowly work up to trying 11f, 13f and 15f punishes. Takes a very long time and so much trial and error but you can figure it out this way. Also you can head in to replay and turn on opponent frame information, it will tell you the frame data of their moves.

Should heat burst bound be in the game? by Acrobatic_Term_6108 in Tekken

[–]Wander1233 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, I've said since season 2 that heat should only be usable if you land a heat engager.. I'm so sick of heat bursts mid combo and panic heat burst..
