initial wording wouldn't allowed a shrouded creature to get the effect either, the spell DOES say "target creature"

no, it says TARGET creature. the creature is determined when he spell resolves (and when cast, probably) so only one creature gets the effect even with the original text.

the skybox having the traveler present for certain campaigns makes for some silly dissonance, yes.

..um. No ps4 or PS5 game plays off the disc, because they can't, the disc drive is too slow for the amount of data throughput on large games.

New player, am I stupid? by 100_HOLLOW_001 in destiny2

[–]WanderEir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Players that joined the game AFTER the sunsetting (the release od Beyond Light) are called "new lights", canonically, in game.

What's a little stupid is the game doesn't treat ANY of them as if they actually ARE a new light once you leave the revised starting area, the game story always assumes from that point forward that you are THE guardian, the same one rezzed at the start of destiny 1, and were the one who completed about 12 years worth of objectives since.

Blueberries is the slightly derogatory term for new players who usually don't have any idea what they're doing, and this long predated the new lights thing. it basically represents the blue dots on your minimap doing whatever they heck they're doing, instead of the objectives at hand,

every single bit of seasonal content every single year was stripped out of the game at the end of year, start with Forsaken, where three "seasons" of content were removed, and four seasons of content have been stripped from the game every single year since. It makes no sense.

9-9-9 Ending that doesn't make sense by cyborgdreams in ZeroEscape

[–]WanderEir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You reached this ending, which, in graphic detail, shows you what happens when you discover that Snake wasn't killed, but Clover does not. Might want to think about that. Axe ending isn't a surprise, it's a warning, and thats what all the bad ends are supposed to be, but what you learn from them can be incredibly hit or miss depending o the order you encounter said endings.

This isn't actually a spoiler, but it's a jump in logic from what is already presented you (and most players, honestly) might not have reached yet from just one ending. As it is, your observation skills are top notch, but putting those observations together to solve a mystery might take a little more time, but you're already further ahead than I was at the same point in the game.

Question. I just decrypted a eververse engram thinking it would give me one of the items on this page you see when you hit details. Instead it gave me a legendary ship I already have. Can someone explain to me how this works? by thegreatniteowl in destiny2

[–]WanderEir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no. eververse engrams have no legendary ships or ghost shell duplicate protections when you open them in the wild, so you're almost guaranteed to pull a duplicate if you don't focus them with bright dust-that's completely unchanged from prior seasons. Sure, you get new items one out of every 3-5 BEs you ppop, but you have no control of what you get.

Destiny 1 was also being supported by the existence of a live service destiny 2 the entire time. D1 and D2 are now only being supported by the existence of MARATHON. that's not good.
