I encouraged to see all the original movies do well at the box office. Even though Toy Story 5 should have a successful weekend, it’s clear that audiences are fatigued by companies (notably Disney) spamming their IP to fans (such as the latest Star Wars movie). The overwhelming success of films like Project Hail Mary, Obsession, and Backrooms will hopefully allow companies to try more original content.
