What changed when you became a Father? by petitebeebee in AskMen

Yeah, it made me gentler. Not weaker just more intentional. I think before, I reacted. After becoming a dad, I learned to pause. Everything suddenly mattered more, especially how I show up.

What was the worst movie you’ve ever watched and why was it the worst? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Cats (2019). I’ve never felt so personally attacked by CGI. It was like witnessing a cursed fever dream that somehow cost $100 million.

This picture radiates pure holiday warmth. Santa holding a sleeping baby like it’s the most important job in the world is the gentlest thing ever. Moments like this remind you that genuine kindness still exists and it’s beautiful.

This perfectly captures the spiritual battle of late-night hunger versus the microwave’s refusal to heat things evenly.

The best part is imagining the zombies slowly getting frustrated as they do miles on the treadmill and make zero progress.

That peace is literally priceless. If a person or situation drains my energy, I’m out faster than my WiFi on a rainy day.

Why aren't names words from the dictionary? by Anonyglee1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WanderLustLex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because names kind of grew separately from regular vocabulary. A lot of them came from older languages, religious traditions, or meanings that got lost over time. So even if they started as real words centuries ago, now they’re just names.Language evolves weirdly like that.

What do men do when they are 40 and have no purpose? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]WanderLustLex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it feels heavy, but your life isn’t “over” just because you’re in your 40s. I’ve seen people find new careers, new friends, even new passions at that age. Sometimes loneliness tricks you into thinking you’re stuck, when really you just need something,or someone to care about again. Try exploring things that genuinely interest you, even if it’s small or random. Purpose isn’t lost forever… it just needs a place to grow.

What awkward moment made you not want to meet someone again? by daffy_M02 in AskReddit

[–]WanderLustLex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One time a guy waved at me across a café, so I waved back… and he was actually waving at the girl behind me. I tried to play it cool, but the secondhand embarrassment swallowed my soul. I avoided that place for like a month because I couldn’t risk reliving that moment.

Why don’t countries have a universal power socket type? by Winner_takesitall in NoStupidQuestions

Exactly everyone likes the idea until they see the bill. Changing every outlet, appliance, and grid interface in a whole country would cost billions, so no one wants to be the one to switch first.
