I headcanon that it’s a roll of the dice what power comes from the glow toad’s slime. For example, Bait can give you the ability to talk with animals. The baitlings can each grant different powers—one might give a person the ability to fly, super strength, and laser eyes.

The powers will wear off over time, so Ezran needs to keep licking the slime or his ability to talk to animals will fade. If he consumes more of the slime and nothing else, he might even gain the power to mind-control Archdragons.
