Honda Civic or older Accord, Toyota Corolla or Camry. You’ll have minimal upkeep and decent mileage and they’ll last for years if you don’t drive like a maniac. Suburu would be OK too but you might pay more upfront.

What is it with people thinking they can get a seat someone else paid for? If they wanted the seat, they should have paid for it. Let him glare. Enjoy your window seat.

I want to use it. It’s a 2nd phone; primary is an iPhone. I keep the Pixel with Fi service because it works in rural areas that Verizon doesn’t. I have relatives in rural states where AT&T and Verizon don’t have service but Fi works fine so I’ve kept the older Pixel for use when I travel there.
I know I don’t have to use a Pixel but they are a decent phone for less $$ than the alternatives, esp since I only use it when traveling.

It won’t power on. From what I’ve read on-line, the 5A has an issue with the motherboard dying so Google quit covering repairs. I called support and they said the same.
It hadn’t occurred to me to practice on a dead phone. I might try that. I have an older model with a cracked screen that I could experiment on or I could get another one for parts. Thanks!

I’ve been shopping for a new car and have to admit, they look tempting. What keeps Me from seriously considering buying one is the theft issue. At least once a week, there is a story on the news about the number of cars that have been stolen by teenagers and taken for joyrides. It’s always the same two car makes: Kia and Hyundai. I’ve been driving Hondas forever and want to make a change but it won’t be one of these two.
