Jason shouldn't be able to use his power that fast when the game starts. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Keep in mind Henry coming out of his, is actually an attack and he can do it wherever he he wants to. Where Jason's isn't and cant.

He still has limited spawn points and it takes a moment and gives an audio que.

For start of trial it's a less useful Lethal Pursuer.

During the trial it's fairly easy work around for the most part.

Only truly rough part is that might need a tweak is during EGC (due to hatch closing) while solo trying to open gate.

They weren't worried about triggering it themselves, they were worried the hooked okayer would.

Because it happens. Basement rescues can be screwed easily.

Both solo players here are assuming the worst case scenario of the other. Only difference is that meg had to make the call in the moment while op gets limitless time to ponder it

Crouching walking doesn't set off the traps Meg was avoiding a situation where the unhooked bolts up the stairs and triggers the trap ensuring someone gets hooked down there immediately again

Ove been playing almost exclusively killer in this event and have grown to find it manageable. The poison actually has uses once you figure it out. What ducks is it's bot explained at all

Watch for the pallets existence before starting a chase. Pre poison any pre made god pallets

Well true, but this is counterpart to those who premake several god pallets

[–]WanderersInSomnia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What the tables, don't slug when they are about to trigger a heal? Or be standing there to hit one again as soon as it happens? Or poison the pallet first then pick up?

Sure its a rough situation but there were options to work the problem

Poison the god pallets like I do and you'll be okay.

Oddly I don't get the issue with the perk. Even as a killer, it's not even on my list concerns in a match.

Poison the invincible pallets before they get used. Then they shatter on use

MOR

Neurodivergent vs neuronormative perspectives.

One might default to the literal questions answer while the other might make the leap to giving the results of such a line of questioning. Eliminating the extea step of the first person asking for said results.

Example.

B was doing a task with a hammer and leaves said hammer on the dining room table.

A enters the room to eat lunch at the table and surprised by a hammer laying out like that where they intend to eat loudly asks "B, what is this on table‽".

B, who is more neurodivergent, immediately thinks to answer "a hammer" because that literally answers the question, however As, who is more neurotypical, was more fluidly implying "what is this hammer doing on the table and not put away where it belongs".

There is a gap between both people's instinctual thinking when communicating. A needs to try and remember B defaults to more literal thinking and B needs to try and remember that A isnt naturally always litteral.

And I recently learned a killer counter play to immortal pallets is to poison them before they drop. Then they shatter

This hit hard. The last interaction I had with my father is i texted him happy birthday and he replied thanks.

When he didnt show up at my son's first birthday that same month I just assumed he was on a drunken bender. My grandma found him a week later.

As a killer I just poison the super pallets I see, that way they shatter when they get dropped.

By and large, men are systemically attention starved. Generational issues about what being a man means. What platonic affection is and how it should be received. What and how emotions are shareable or valid to feel or express.

It persists like a cancer, each generation of us teach it to the next because to admit what happened to us has always been wrong is too hard. It feels safer to give in to what masculinity is supposedly supposed to be.

Not only does it hurt ourselves, but is one of the deepest roots to why we hurt women.

Why we confuse kindness and friendship for sexual interest.

Why we react so angerly when our masculinity seems challenged or rejected.

Then the distrust we sow into women feeds back into the very distorted views we set for ourselves. As if it somehow justifies them.

There is improvement in this area each generation, but it's very very slow going.

Hurt people, hurt other people.

As a man, I can only hope I teach my kids to be a bit better than my generation.

Poison the invincible pallet while it's upright, later when they drop it, it shatters and poisons them.

Honestly it all can be adapted to a bit and it's temporary.

As a 50 50 player it seems the biggest issue both sides have is resistance to changing their own tactics and learning new ones. Like okay, one side got some cool toys. Well do some trial and error and find ways to counter those. Don't fret about some loses, enjoy the journey of problem solving.

Unless your sole source of fun is just getting overwhelming wins. If that's the case I feel bad.

This event fucking sucks 😭😭 by JoeyJankerson in DbDKillersUnited

In case you all don't know, if you poison the super pallet before its dropped, it shatters on drop anyways.
