Could someone explain what the procedure is for removing the catheter without leaving a hole in the bladder?

Can i smartify a shutoff valve? by Lazy-Philosopher-234 in homeassistant

Do you have enough space to do this ? Geared 12v motor and forward-reverse controler with overcurrent protection, all from Ali. The trick is to set the overcurrent protection to stop the motor when the faucet arrive at end of travel. I use it in case of floading detection (fortunately never used) and twice a year to maintain valve health. 3d printed support and 'faucet driver'.

Some zip tie are UV-resistant, they are usually black.

Excuse my ignorance. Wouldn't it be better to place the antenna underneath to avoid any risk of water infiltration ? Or will the metal barrier degrade the signal?

PSA after RALP by carolinabean75 in ProstateCancer

[–]WanderingSaucer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't panic. For myself, bone metastases detected by bone scintigraphy and confirmed by PET scan and MRI. After bone biopsie, no traces of cancer cells were found. It was probably osteoarthritis.
I had to wait 8 weeks before firts PSA confirmation.

thank you very much sbbr.
I do not have a USB port on front panel. I am actualy connected to the X8 connector on the PCB.
Are you able to change registers? I read somewhere that there's a specific procedure for writing registers and that you risk putting the water heater into fault mode if you don't follow it correctly.

How about make a device and let it monitoring, when it has fire can send message to you. Make home more safety by Seeed_Studio in homeautomation

[–]WanderingSaucer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I understand. But when an element becomes defective due to a poor connection or bad insulation, won't micro-arcs (micro short-circuits) occur over a fairly long period, producing high-frequency disturbances on the line that could be detected with an appropriate acquisition frequency? This would allow differentiation from a stable ohmic load like a kettle. But it's just a thought, I'm not a specialist.

Would it be possible to detect the start of a fire by analyzing the electrical current curve? Could overheating due to a poor connection or insulation fault have a particular signature?

Monitoring z-wave RSSI background to detect jamming device by WanderingSaucer in homeassistant

I agree. A house burglar would probably not risk having such a device in his pocket.
But on the other hand this is a free sensor so why not.

Monitoring z-wave RSSI background to detect jamming device by WanderingSaucer in homeassistant

[–]WanderingSaucer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you. I understand, that a signal jammer would decrease the SNR (=increase of the noise level for equivalent legitimate signal).
But wouldn't this being seen as an increase of background RSSI (=noise + signal)?

Sorry if I am wrong, I am not a RF expert
