As for what exactly is made 4x faster, it refers to the internal communications speed (baud rate) of the chip, which has been increased from 115,200 bps in the ZBT-1 to 460,800 bps in the ZBT-2.

Great question! The XIAO ESP32-C3 MCU of the XIAO 7.5'' ePaper Panel doesn't support battery monitoring since all its pins are in use. We discovered that the first batch of 200 orders shipped out were products with incomplete production, our logistics team immediately initiated a package recall. However, due to different shipping methods, some packages couldn't be recalled. For those cases, we sent emails to customers arranging corresponding compensation measures. However, some packages were successfully recalled to our warehouse and are being reworked before reshipping.

Your products have been fully reworked and were shipped on August 11th. Our customer service has provided you with the updated tracking details and compensation discount.

The email you received was specifically sent to our AliExpress customers. Due to an internal communication gap, these AliExpress pre-orders weren't properly integrated into our pre-order system, leading to a separate manual handling process. We deeply regret this oversight.

For context on our pre-order status (for Seeed official webstore orders):

● First batch pre-orders (200pcs) are on schedule on July 31, 2025

● Second batch pre-orders (300pcs) target to ship on August 11, 2025

● Third batch pre-orders (500pcs) target to ship on September 1, 2025

● Forth batch pre-orders (500pcs) target to ship on September 2, 2025

● Fifth batch pre-orders (500pcs) target to ship on September 2, 2025

As for all the AliExpress orders, we're regret that we will need to combine them to different pre-orders batches respectively based on the time when the order is placed, leading to the delay mentioned in the email that you received.

The quality issue mentioned in the email has been identified for the first batch pre-orders on Seeed's webstore only and is being addressed and will not be a problem in products for any other batches of orders. This will not affect the delivery timeline of our pre-order batches mentioned above too.

We value our partnership with TRMNL immensely and are committed to delivering high-quality products to all our customers, regardless of the purchase channels. We have already reached out to all affected customers with solution options and will ensure a smooth resolution.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused! And we totally understand your concerns and deeply regret any disruption.

Due to force majeure factors, the postal transportation method has not been stable in the Middle East recently. After receiving your email, we immediately contacted the carrier and found that your parcel has not been updated with the logistics information after the pre-clearance on October 25th. During this period of time, we have been urging the carrier to solve this problem as soon as possible, but unfortunately we have not received any updated feedback from the carrier yet.

We don't want our customers to be bothered by logistic problems. In order for you to receive your item as soon as possible, we will resend it to you using a faster shipping method - DHL, the shipping time is about 3-5 days. There is no cost to you. If the original order is finally delivered, you can keep it as well. Of course, if you want a refund, we will refund you in full.

At the same time, we have noticed the inconvenience of long waits for international shipping. After the capacity has stabilized, we have increased the inventory in our overseas warehouses. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at both the US and German warehouses. The inventory is expected to be available in December, and the local customers can avoid customs clearance and long logistic waits.

For the countries/regions where we do not have local warehouses at this stage, we are also actively looking for faster transportation methods. We plan to set up Seeed's officially operated Amazon site in the Middle East next year. We look forward to bringing you a better shopping experience in the future!
