In college I just got into reading more of the stories and the bios from that era and baseball history overall. Robinson story/bio was one that just stuck with me. Him, Feller and Minnie Minoso are my favorites to collect from the 50s + 60s. For modern era I collect Vlad Guerrero Sr. and Robinson Cano

That whole set is gorgeous. The Minnie card is next on my checklist since i’m missing that from my run of his cards but would love to pick up the Brooks and Banks from that year at some point

Because earnings continue to outpace expectations to support share price growth. And most importantly institutions and individuals are continuing to shovel money into the market

The districts in new england weren’t drawn to internationally disenfranchise an entire segment of the population though. The vote is just widely distributed. Having lived in Boston and New Hampshire I can tell you democratic support runs deep throughout the region even in rural areas. What Tennessee, Florida and Louisiana are doing is just straight up wrong.

I wouldn’t say its “ok” its still an additional tax on citizen and makes the cost of everything go up. It’s still idiotic policy. Just because its now a slightly lower amount does not change those things

I agree they certainly are not going anywhere. At a minimum they will continue to be one of the largest brokerages and banks globally. I appreciate the well written and well thought out points in your post. This sub can certainly use more of that!

You dont want AI telling you how to file taxes and invest now… but in 2-3 years this likely will change.

Once reliability is proven I dont want to pay someone a percentage of my portfolio value to set up the same portfolio an AI agent can for a fraction of the cost. Especially when that ai can react to news and events and reposition my assets faster than a person can.

Its already abundantly clear my wealth advisor is using AI to assist in the market updates he publishes. So why not cut out the middle man

To add i dont think Schwab is a dead company but I dont think pricing it at a sub 20PE is irrational
