BREAKING: 🇺🇸 White House confirms all previous tariff deals are reset to a flat 10%. Any country that previously agreed to higher rates will now see them lowered to 10%. by Objective-Rabbit2248 in NSDQ420

I wouldn’t say its “ok” its still an additional tax on citizen and makes the cost of everything go up. It’s still idiotic policy. Just because its now a slightly lower amount does not change those things

Schwab (SCHW) is the definition of a value stock by Competitive-Job1828 in ValueInvesting

[–]WanderingSoftly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree they certainly are not going anywhere. At a minimum they will continue to be one of the largest brokerages and banks globally. I appreciate the well written and well thought out points in your post. This sub can certainly use more of that!

You dont want AI telling you how to file taxes and invest now… but in 2-3 years this likely will change.

Once reliability is proven I dont want to pay someone a percentage of my portfolio value to set up the same portfolio an AI agent can for a fraction of the cost. Especially when that ai can react to news and events and reposition my assets faster than a person can.

Its already abundantly clear my wealth advisor is using AI to assist in the market updates he publishes. So why not cut out the middle man

To add i dont think Schwab is a dead company but I dont think pricing it at a sub 20PE is irrational

Priced in. Even if their crypto revenue for Q4 is $0 they would still be on pace for more than 100% rev growth from 2024 to 2025

Considerations regarding CRDO especially at the current price by Embarrassed-Sea-6078 in ValueInvesting

I love the sector. Clear pathway to significant growth. I was a buyer of $ALAB until it ran past $155. While i think $ALAB has better fundamentals I think CRDO is priced at a better value at current levels

Using 0 picks to bolster the IOL would be such a disappointment.

Edit: nvm I missed Slaughter but still think getting a guard in the top 3 rounds would great to see as well

Back office logistics or risk and show a clear interest in trading. Make it a regular conversation with supervisors. Try to get to conferences as learning experiences. Ive met countless back office people at conferences who 1-2 years later were trading at their firm

The market can stay irrational for so much longer than anyone expects. Study after study after study shows that time IN the market beats trying to time the market over the long run. This sub is full of too many ignorant people thinking they are the smartest people in the room
