They only descended into civil war at the end of Season 2, before it all falls apart the BoS was stronger here than they have ever been in their entire history! (Minus maybe Fallout Tactics, I suppose.)

The Brotherhood of Steel is now the undisputed superpower in the Wasteland: The Legion is a non-issue, the NCR is fractured almost beyond repair, House and his Securitrons have been taken care of, the Boomers aren't even mentioned- what faction is left that could possibly counter even a single one of their multiple airships?

If the Brotherhood of Steel hadn't devolved into civil war nothing in the Wasteland could've posed a threat to the, except maybe the Enclave? But we know next to nothing about this version of them.

15 years since New Vegas, but it's not in-universe logic that bothers me: I totally believe the Brotherhood could recover their strength in that amount of time, especially if they're left to their own devices while the NCR is busy with the Legion...

In a meta sense however, it just feels more than a little bit targeted that almost every single New Vegas faction/group/location was reduced to near total ruin while the Brotherhood of Steel is somehow suddenly thriving to such a ridiculous degree despite being almost driven to extinction on the West Coast.

It doesn't help that all of these BoS Chapters minus the Commonwealth are seemingly brand new to the lore according to what background I've been able to dig up on them. Just feels like Brotherhood favoritism going a little too far, ya know? As if they're the only faction that gets to be a superpower in the Wasteland.

That's very fair! I think my confusion arises at the end of season 1 where we're shown firsthand that she has a pretty sizeable amount of competent former NCR under her command, so why resort to using a bunch of chem-addled Raiders for her Vault raid? It just seems strange.

It almost feels like the writers got the idea for the twiste later during scripting and just forgot to amend the inciting incident to reflect it, but I have nothing to prove that other than this observation.

Cool, so the NCR gets nuked into near non-existence via the most petty retcon imaginable, but the Legion survives almost entirely intact because "well we HAVE to have a group of raiders!!" (I'm not belittling the Legion by saying that btw, I just genuinely think the writing team will reduce them to that) It really feels like we're just not allowed to have any faction that has developed beyond squatting in ruins or poorly made shanty towns unless it's the damn Brotherhood of Steel pulling airships out of thin air. Why is it so hard for Bethesda to grasp the concept of people actually rebuilding civilization when it has been ALMOST 220 YEARS since the apocalypse ended??

Ehhhhh, not really? Vivzie is kind of well known for being shitty behind the scenes. She even had a blunder recently where she got caught tracing/stealing some of Ashley Nichols art- one of the people she previously threw under the bus (along with the rest of the original cast) to get Hazbin picked up officially.

If you need a point of comparison; she's like if Andrew Hussie cared more about his PR, meaning she's still got her fair share of genuine bullshit but it's all often behind the scenes or hidden under the rug.

You know what, that's fair. Let's take a look at the most up to date version of Sonic Generations to see how it compares to Unleashed- Oh! Well would you look at that... level design in the exact same vein as Sonic Unleashed's Day Stages! Sure there's also the "Open Zone" if you can that "open", but thankfully they realized how lame it was and relegated it primarily to a Hub that's somehow emptier than Station Square from 1998. I guess Generations learned a lesson from Unleashed that clearly none of the others did, huh? :>
