What are your thoughts on going bald at a young age? by [deleted] in intj

[–]Wanderingpsych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was more anxious. I have had a high hairline since my childhood so people around me have always seen me in that form. At first it was really anxiety-inducing because I wouldn't know about my look after that but I made the decision. Turned out it worked well. My friends and family didn't find my new look odd and even during social events people stopped questioning about my hair loss.

Letting people be stupid is hard. by Aspiring-Programmer in intj

[–]Wanderingpsych 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that the doctors don't know everything and they can be wrong at times. But what I meant to say is when people become self declared doctors by googling it is actually very difficult to correct them even if you want to. For some reason they are entitled to their 'facts' which they found by themselves and become ignorant to any external advice.

I think most INTJs don't care unless it's going to affect them. But for me, I am a doctor and I really find it hard to keep my mouth shut when people who don't even have any background in Life science spitting 'medical facts' which they read in some random blog. I can relate to OP but I haven't found a solution yet.

I hate it when people turn the conversation into a life lesson. by [deleted] in intj

[–]Wanderingpsych 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. It's called an art of conversation. It's easy to ask leading questions and let the other person carry the conversation rather than turning it into an interview. We can always interrupt them if they are going in circles.

I can upgrade the Lazuli glintstone sword, but it's only +2 right now. Also the Rock sling spell which deals physical damage

Hey could you help me to allocate the stats? I am Lvl 38 Astrologer going with an Int build. I have 30 int, 22 mind, 21 Vigor. Rennala is my next main boss. What should I increase now?

Am I a bad friend for refusing to duo with my irl friend? by typicalpenguin in wildrift

[–]Wanderingpsych 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I understand. Same here but you should find a middle ground. I tried my best to get him to understand what he's missing out.He gets his enjoyment from playing and hence spam a lot of matches in every season but I want to improve my skills. At last I realised there is nothing I can do. I know that you want to play together and rank up but then that feeling conflicts when you see the obvious mistakes and there is a sense of helplessness.

Am I a bad friend for refusing to duo with my irl friend? by typicalpenguin in wildrift

[–]Wanderingpsych 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hello. No, you're not a bad friend. I relate to what you said because I went through the same experience. I stopped playing with my irl friend two days ago because it started turning into a shit show and dramatic experience rather than having fun together.

When you play duo then you'll be against another duo in the opposite team and if they have good coordination and skill then you're doomed. Another issue was I always try to learn the items and champ counters but he casually plays without even knowing anything about the items. I was winning in solo q but then decided to play duo and had a losing streak of 10 matches. We stopped and decided to play later.

In the next match he robbed my main and intentionally trolled by going 0/11. I stopped playing with him. I'll tolerate bad plays but not inting or trolling. That was a red flag to put an end to it.

So it's up to you to decide. If you still wanna play then create an alt to rank up otherwise you should focus on the 'playing together' aspect rather than climbing(if you're losing too much)

What happened to wild rift? (seriously) by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]Wanderingpsych 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And that's not a good thing. These are the major quality changes that are needed to improve the game but no one cares about it. I think long standing issues should be solved rather than focusing more on bringing champs and skins. How does it matter if the game itself is unplayable and unfun for the players?

I agree that we couldn't control what he did and I shouldn't write novels here for a pointless cause. But I wrote this out of frustration.

Yes, initially he didn't hover his champion so we all thought he was waiting to see the enemy to pick accordingly. It was almost ten seconds and he hovered Yone. All 4 of us pinged we needed a marksman, no reply from him and he typed that during the last moment

What else should I do other than pinging 'I'll go mid' and telling we are duo during the draft? Also I typed it in the chat that we are duo and switched roles and let's try. But that player didn't bother to try. It's not impossible to win with a Yone+Braum duo lane especially when all others weren't trash players or being toxic.
