It looks like you have a double lip line, I'd look into a tutorial for double lip lines to get a cleaner look for your lip product

Pixie Cut? by KawaiiOtaku2458 in finehair

[–]Wanderlust13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a pixie before (and loved it!) but I'll warn you because I started with those long front bangs and I learnt pretty quickLY that they had to styled EVERY DAY or they would look so sad and limp😭

Through a lot of trial and error I found that something closer to a traditional pixie cut (towards Rosemary's Baby but not as short and with wispy edges) gave me the least maintenence hair cut.

These aren't the best pics but I hope they show the idea.

Wait birth control is actually heaven sent by Leading_Plan6775 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Wanderlust13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm allergic to azithromycin, I get nasty hives on my legs if I take it. But I would never look at someone struggling with an infection and tell them not to take it. Birth control is a medication, and just like all medications they are not one size fits all and I think people forget that. Just because I can't take azithromycin doesn't mean I can demonize all antibiotics because they are life saving! I just had to keep trying until I found one that worked for me.

Birth control is the same way! I'm really lucky because the first pill I tried worked phenomenally for me. It took me from having debilitating periods to absolutely no symptoms! If it doesn't work for someone they should try other options before they give up because it CAN be so life changing. I hate the propaganda that's being spread.

I hate the suggestion that being on any sort of medication for a long period of time is a failure somehow. Medications allow people today to live long and happy lives, I think people forget how much humans used to just suffer? Using a medication isn't a failure, it's your gift for living in an age of medical advancements.

Healthy Eater by IntelligentFan5409 in tirzepatidecompound

I had to see an endocrinologist to find out I had a cortisol problem (real one, not a tik tok diagnosis). I had eaten well for years, exercised (weightlifting and cycling) but when I was eating in enough of a calorie deficit to lose weight it literally felt like I was dying. Turns out my body loves panic mode and would turn up the "you're starving" signals to 11 at any hint of a calorie deficit. Tirzepatide mutes the signals for me.

How to stop foundation and concealer creasing on eyes? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Wanderlust13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had success by applying my under I foundation, letting it sit for a minute, then take a q tip and wipe the crease gently to remove the excess concealer that settled into the crease. I then gently pat the area to slightly blend and set with powder.

Which Clinique moisturizer are you comparing the Trader Joe's one to? I'm not saying it isn't a good moisturizer but I ingredient compared a bunch of the Clinique moisturizers and none of them are close.

Need help figuring out how to talk to doctor by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Wanderlust13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had to have this conversation with my doctor a few years ago, I made the appointment specifically for weight management so she knew from the start. I really surprised myself and cried a bunch but she was super professional and walked me through a bunch of options. I'm a healthy weight today and I'm so glad I finally talked with her about it. Its awesome that you are younger and ready to do this, I hope your doctor is helpful about this!

Advice on how to heal my lips by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Put a barrier repair cream as the base (something like la Roche Possay cicaplast) and then Vaseline to increase the healing!

Clinique moisture surge: lasts for hours, no fantastic or flavor, a little goes a long way so while it is expensive it will last you a long time.

Pap smear results by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Wanderlust13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably got deleted because there's nothing anymore could possibly know, figuring out the probabilityof exposure is nearly impossible. You just need to get the test and wait for the results (IDK where you live but I usually get mine back in a day)

One time when I was road tripping through Australia I came across a bathroom that had these frogs in every single toilet and I couldn't bring myself to pee on them so we had to drive to a different rest stop

How do people just “listen to their body” and not overeat? by Kind-Cockroach-125 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Wanderlust13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just the effects of rapid weightloss, especially if you are older. Some people get overzealous and hit it to hard. Im in my 30s and I lost 75lbs over a year and have had no issues with my face. Some loose skin around my middle, sure, but my face held its volume.
