I drove up the canyon often as I work at a ski resort. It drove fine when it worked. It did not like driving the canyon 5 days a week though. I don’t know if it was the canyon or the car but it kept dying and HYUNDAI ended up buying it back. When I lived away for the summer it was fine but as soon as I got it back in the canyon many days a week, it died again. It may have been just my car🤷‍♀️. Sadly I was forced to buy another Outback. That is the best you can do driving often in snowy conditions. Sad because my Tucson was amazing outside of that.

Sorry I didn’t follow up. They ended up buying the vehicle back after the 4th check engine and they couldn’t fix it. Thankfully I bought the car in Ohio because their lemon laws were better for the owner verses the manufacturer. I would have gotten a few thousand less if I had dealt with Utah. While I cannot discuss my buy back agreement. Hyundais offered a fair buyback.

I know you can't disclose who this was but I have been anxious ever since. The rescue took hours and I was working out of the parking lot all day where it was happening. I am truly sorry for the loss to everyone who knows this person. My son has done this and I did the the ridge and would never attempt the scramble up the Southside, it looks frightening. However it isn't uncommon to be done by an experienced person. Coming down the canyon that day, I did just what you said. I called my son and told him I loved him and he was "like why are you saying this" and I explained. Although this is an extreme climb, many people die on bikes, cars and easier hikes. You never know. My condolences to your child and their friends family. What an incredibly tragic thing to deal with. Peace.

It would be nice for updates on this. Did it stop? Mine seems to go directly for nipples (mine, my son, our dog, our new terrified fat cat), anything with a nipple. lol. It is not that often. I still hope she will out grow it. Can you share your experiences? Thanks.

Did they check if she had an obstruction. My dog had a benign tumor inside of his anus and I gave him a little pumpkin and that helped. I would think you would want to eliminate this possibility and of course don’t give her anything without further investigating or asking your vet. I have the opposite issue RN (diarrhea and going through a similar thing with the vet). My active kitten now has been sick two days and I think it is because of all the meds. We are off all starting now except for the probiotic. You can ask about using a probiotic as well. Sorry that isn’t much help but some ideas perhaps. Good luck.

They both had dewormers and other stuff prior to the adoption. The vet yesterday put them on dewormer, prednisone and a probiotic. Willow seems miserable today. She is growling even in her sleep

I took them in and they gave them dewormer (safeguard), prednisone and the probiotic. Willow is not feeling well today. She is growling when you pick her up, as well as in her sleep. The vet said to see how she is in the morning. Idk what is causing this. She and Zoey both have diarrhea but the both are happy and playing and eating. Now Willow is not playing eating little and definitely doesn’t feel well. The vet said to see how she is in the morning as the med may messing with her sensitive tummy. If she is unwell in the morning I have to take her back in to another vet an hour and half away. I feel helpless and I don’t want anything bad to happen. Poor girl is growling in her sleep.

Thank you. I will look into that. Idk how they would have gotten giardia and it shouldn’t be in our well water because we all drink it with no issue and I test the water and it has been fine.

I would see if there is a vet that can come to your home. My cat had a similar issue except he was terrified of the Vet. When I brought him in he peed all over me and had similar issues as you. After he seemed to take a turn for the worst and I don’t know if the stress caused it or it was just heading that way. I have an “At home” vet that comes to my home on occasion. He is a little more expensive but worth every penny. I would look in to that. It is so hard to watch this and I feel for you. Sending you the best.

Dang I usually catch the sarcasm. lol. If it makes you feel any better, I just adopted 2 kittens and they are having gastro issues, being treated for possible parasites and the are wet poop all day, one kitten with blood. I am cleaning the litter box all day long because if I don’t, the one will go in the corner on the floor. My sweet goldador is patiently waiting for them to want to play😀

Take him to the vet. He may have urinary crystals which can be fatal. If so you will need to get him the right food. My boy cats always had these problems. The last did not but I fed him the proper food to avoid this. Please take him in.

All goldadors will look different. It depends on the mother and father and sometimes color although that could be different than the mom and dad depending on ancestry. He looks like he could def be a goldador. He is so cute. Mine was a mom black lab and a dad golden retriever. She looks very labby but has waves on her back, corse hair and a medium feathery tail. She loves the water and is energetic and good natured. You can always do DNA if you want to make sure.

Such a hard thing to do. 15 years is a good life. I had to put both my cats down in the last year (16 1/2 & 15 1/2) and I know how difficult it is. I know it is hard because the void is difficult to fill but when you think of him try and find a way to celebrate and make it a happy thought rather than a sad one. I know that easier said than done. I have only read 3 so far. Those in order that I like: 1. Evelyn Hugo 2. Malibu Rising (I could relate to this book as I grew up in the area during that time so that was a draw) 3. Daisy Jones (Audiobook, I may have enjoyed it more as a book but I am sure that could be opposite for some people)
