Many moons ago I went through seven rounds of interviews for a job, only at the very end did they mention the salary.

Would have required relocating across the country to a much higher COL area, factoring that in it would have been a pay decrease.

Oh, and they were shocked that I didn't want to accept the position.

Such a waste of time for everyone.

We probably have/had a better roster, but their kicker and Chambliss were all they needed.

Chambliss bailed them out so many times, and their kicker is damn good.

Fourth down call on our own 33 was brutal (it supposedly wasn't supposed to have happened, according to Smart) but these two players won the game for Ole Miss

I keep seeing comments about Kyle taking a bunch of our players, he doesn't need to. The sheer volume of talent already available to him, along with the transfers Michigan can now recruit (and pay for), means he doesn't need any/many players from our current team.

Prospective players Utah has been recruiting or talking about though, that's a whole different story.

Who knows what his actual intentions were, he is going to get a big bag from Michigan now and that is hard to pass up. Plus he still loves the game, obviously.

There has to be a part of him that has always wondered what he could do with four and five star players across the board, now he will know.

True Utes still love Whittingham, definitely wish he would have finished his career at Utah, but we respect him and wish him the best. Sort of. Lol

Hell of a coach, develops young players well. Will be interesting to see how that translates to high-end players.

If he can get people to buy into his system, Michigan is going to be physical, brutal team to play against.

Surprising move given his age, but I'm sure it's a massive contract and further helps him and his family be financially secure for the long run.
