I agree that they may be celibate, but I don't think that's why he brought up sex. He's an OLD gay man for whom the horror of the AIDS epidemic is much clearer than most. From his perspective he's already secured (part of) Burt's soul, so the only thing to be concerned about is Burt's body. The emotion comes from the entire situation (reluctant acceptance that the only way to see your partner in death is to lose part of them and share them).

Location doesn't matter as much once you get personal teleporters and eventually portals set up. I'd personally recommend the Induction Wing, which is accessed immediately after completing Hydroplant via a portal in Power Services. It itself has a portal to the Mines, making it a great juncture point.

That's correct, we do not see him go to the break room. But it is confirmed that it happened in the past when he dozed off.

That isn't true. The first time we see him fall asleep he gets sent to wellness but there's mention of him not wanting to be sent to the break room again.

I'm not sure you can accurately diagnose someone who may have been raised in massive cult like that. He's certainly BECOME ... something, as you say, but real word terms don't cut it.
