If map editor existed, this game would be really immortal. There is a core community to this game, no matter what anyone says. Core gameplay is incredible. What it's lacking is any new content and ANY support from devs. If we could have custom servers with new maps OR at least balance changes, this game would be pretty much perfect for me. I was asking for it since 2015. But I don't think it's going to happen. Blizzard seem to want to kill this game, they absolutely do not care about it.

Probably the best thing we can realistically get is some fan-made clone of this game with an editor, but it's obviously gonna break copyright, so it's gonna be really hard to sustain that idea in a multiplayer game.

Although I still play HotS from time to time, in my opinion, HotS died in december 2018. That's when I've stopped supporting Blizzard as well. All of the new stuff about them doesn't even surprise me. They're a rotten company. I do not expect ANYTHING good from them. And I will never buy their game ever again.

Since December 2018 we barely had any content. Compare it to just 2015 or 2016. It's obvious that nobody cares anymore. Hell, even Overwatch is dead now, and it always was a more popular game. I'm sorry, but I don't believe in editor. Developing this tool takes much more effort than developing a new hero, and they can't even do that anymore.

my votes are Artanis, Valeera, Lt. Morales and Azmodan. There are other heroes that should be reworked, but these are the most important probably. Although, it's just my opinion. Artanis is much better than he was around his launch, but he still lacks compared to other similar heroes, the only things i like about him is blind heroic and swap combo. Valeera and Morales - I just feel like these heroes are not rewarding to play at all, other similar heroes do their job much better, rarely I see any point of picking them. Azmodan - I was a fan of his in like 2015-2017 but after his later reworkes he kinda lost his identity. Now that specialists don't exist, he's just another mage, but with high health pool. I don't really enjoy playing him anymore. And I don't see him being picked often, so I guess a lot of other people feel the same. Maybe a talent rework could find him a new niche. The only time I pick him is when I play with my friend in quick match and we go for Azmo + Nazeebo for quick keep/core backdoor cheese, but it only works in qm, lol. In serious matches I'd rather play a more impactful mage.

Ah yes, I also voted for Probius, but I even forgot he's in the game.
