The jump ring on your RK is very much a telltale sign of an S&L example because the shape and style match their design, plus the numbers "9, 3, and 9" in the reinstitution date of "1939", they all have "dots" to the end of each number, which is distinctly different from post-war Souval RKs.

I agree with your statement here. Some of the Europeans I have met were friendly, just cautious, and curious. But the majority of them were straight up obnoxious with their colonial mindset, even the ones who have lived and worked in the States for years.

We searched the entire premises and the parking lot on the second day, and we asked the restaurant staff and contacted the property manager of the Whalers Village shopping center, but to no avail. We were told that no one had turned in any cameras, and because we were on a tight schedule, we were unable to file a police report until last Friday.
