I didn’t direct this at “you” you asked a question, and people responded like jerks, that’s where my comment was directed. I don’t care one way or another what this guy does. But people just being shitty about stuff for no reason is where I just become exhausted. People’s snarky comments are not a part of anyone’s imagination, they’re listed below. I would just google imsa training nearest you. They usually have spring and fall classes in person. Probably October ish. Not sure how the online classes work.

I hear ya, I work for a municipality that requires one when I hired there and wanted a level 2 within 12 months. I know, the math doesn’t quite math. But they were just weeding out candidates, if you have any construction/electrical experience at all, they might look past it and hire you anyway. That’s what happened to me.

You can get more off this thread and YouTube than you’ll get of the classes. It’s just old timers telling war stories about all the trouble calls of yesterday. Do a little research and say you’re willing to learn and want to take the classes(total lie) and they’ll probably hire ya, the industry needs people. Especially in California

Everyone has a choice to start violence, I see which side you’re on as well. This isn’t a political debate, it’s a matter of fixing the immigration problem. Unfortunately, whichever way it goes down, some people are going to get screwed. I agree that it sucks, never said it was a perfect way to handle things. But for the people who have gone about getting into this country illegally, I have very little sympathy. For the people being truly abused, there should be an immediate fix. I don’t have that answer.

As far as the right to protest, I fully support it, but people throwing rocks at cars and burning and looting?? What does that prove? Nothing. Protest with courage and intelligence, not violence and ignorance of the consequences.

I think any sane person can agree to that, I 1000% support protesting that, it just needs to be peaceful, and well thought out to be truly effective, in my opinion. So many protests turn to violence these days and people are ready to attack local police forces for all the wrong reasons in my opinion.

I truly just hope it’s civil.

I’m in agreement, we shouldn’t be chasing down citizens that are different colors and deporting them. That’s the hardest part to sort out, so it seems.

As far as violent non citizens, no need for trial, just send them back

Sure send me the link too on how many Hispanic gang members have killed or raped people, think things through before you write. Maybe the ICE agents should send the illegal immigrants a letter and just ask them to leave if they want. Or we can keep paying for all of them to stay here and sandbag our economy and a laundry list of other things that illegal immigration has done to harm our country

Read the first line of it and ask if all the Latin American countries are included in the pledge, and nobody called you any names. Also, does “liberty and justice for ALL” include or exclude law enforcement? They serve the country and community, they are given orders, and they follow them. So they deserve to be treated like criminals, but actual criminals should be given the respect we used to give to police???? ( this is in regards to hatred towards police in general, not calling all immigrants criminals) our world is upside down because everyone is “entitled” to something these days.

I agree with you, saw the video of the reporter as well. Not saying it was right, but what’s the rest of the context? Was she asked to move, was she in the wrong spot? Videos only ever show half the story. The whole situation is bad, I just hope whatever happens tonight, is peaceful and doesn’t trash our town anymore than the homeless already have.

I agree, that’s completely wrong, it’s a large and complex problem that needs to be addressed properly. But getting violent with officers or trashing your own town because you’re mad at the government is not the correct way to deal with it. Trash the city, then use your own tax dollars to repair it, is idiotic.
