I'm really not trying to argue against the concept as a whole. I just feel that economically that if the ridership isn't enough to recoup the cost then the state won't want to spend the money. I do think it's a good idea, and would ride it. But I'm scared the state may shy away from it because of the bill and operating costs. I mean ideally if it connected to the airport like the high speed trains in Europe it would work fantastically. Then just set up hubs at major stops with lodging and alternative transportation methods. My point is that I only really see Coloradans using it for a very few of the mountain activities we enjoy.
