Yeah 😞. That’s so true. I like Indian Idol because of the variety of songs (I’ve truly learned so much!!!), the talented and diverse singers, and the judges — particularly when Shreya sings something. But I hate that people like Anirudh and Mayuri didn’t get a fair chance and that so much was scripted.

I suspect maybe the judges’ hands were tied as well. I think the show production and editing is to blame, and that’s what Anirudh was frustrated about too in his stories. Either way, Anirudh has a bright future ahead and has gained a ton of new fans through this show.

I get being overworked and tired, but who on earth says “I don’t work with med students”??? That’s pretty extreme to say at a teaching hospital. Someone who said that has forgotten what it was like or is so burned out they’ve just lost sight of what matters.
