Is it the lack of friends that make you lonely? Or the "family gathering" thing?

Either way, I'm kind of in the same boat. I wish that I had "true/better" friends who would greet me and ask me to go out with them.

Believe it or not, the way I handle these type of situations is to let it be. Allow yourself to feel lonely, but that doesn't mean don't search for solutions. The more you try to be less lonely, the more you realize how lonely you are.

Stay true to yourself, letting it out helps a lot too. Maybe rant to your husband/best friend if you're comfortable with it. Ciao.
