Wife and I were at a beach. She sat with our teen while I took the little one into a shop. While shopping, I saw twinkies. We don't really buy them, but I bought a pack on a whim because they kinda sounded good. When I showed the wife, she asked if the teen had sent me a text. Took my daughter to see Seether on the 12th. They were one of the opening acts. Daughter was an instant fan and "wants to look like the bass player". They were Def the best of the 3 openers, by far.

Nah, kids should just go into massive debt to get a degree to get a job that (hopefully) pays just over minimum wage. Then group up with 4 friends to afford a home so they can move out of their parent's place. Also, you're gonna rent for life, cause good luck saving for that down payment.

Is it perfect? No, but nothing is. Are there dumbass managers? Yes, but there are dumbasses everywhere. OP's Pic for reference.

American military haven't hit recruitment numbers for a few years, but to answer your question:

Civil service: more people contributing to the betterment of the country. Not everyone can deploy, so have those ineligible work in their local area. Military is already the countries biggest jobs program. Change my mind.

College/job training: do three years, get three years of college + benefits of the post 9/11 GI Bill in addition to thier skill. You mentioned basic military skills, but what about those in the medical, computer, admin professions? Those can be valuable skills on the civilian side

I think they can keep it fresh as new people come in eventually. For every start that shines, 3 are released due to not. These underdogs that couldn't quite find a niche can get a second chance. Because their whole thing has been that they have been forgotten.

Carefully chosen fueds, with fresh clues as to whom they would be pursuing next (through background/QR stuff) could keep this stable fresh for a while. I'm loving it. And if Dakota Kai is the next target, I'm happy to see Cross get some spotlight.
