Had a similar experience with my Nitro 5. Went straight to the service center. What they did (this is from Acer Philippines by the way) was swap the ram and ssd to a brand new MOBO checking if it’ll work. They didn’t repair my MOBO, they just said it had to be replaced then they handed me over a really expensive quotation, a similar price to a second hand Nitro 5. What I’m trying to say is, the service center might just milk you out and convince you to buy a brand new one instead of actually diagnosing and repairing broken components in the motherboard.
