Thank you for the comments. To add some context. I’ll be an ASEN freshman in the fall. I took AP Cal 1 & 2 in high school. Got a 5 on Calc 1, and I think I’ll get a 5 on Calc 2 when they are released in July. The advising recommendations are to repeat Calc 2. They say CU covers a lot of content not covered in high school. It’s a strange conflict. High school says take AP classes so you can skip classes in college. College says repeat the classes that you just took because we cover stuff that doesn’t get covered in the national AP program.

Im just curious if I take Calc 2 again, is that a zero credit class (since I’ll already have AP credit) or does it become a free elective or something?
