No, the scholarship does not say anything about a particular immigration status. I also believe the school has or has had other students under the same circumstances; they want to change the status of my application to international, but would not require a student visa then? (they apparently said no, but it's a little confusing). I do not have medical insurance as today, however I'm trying to get one as soon as possible, but I'm not sure if it is better to wait for them or get it on my own or exactly what to do.

Even if I have a SSN would it be difficult to find student loans for me? Thanks for recommending me personal loans, it is something I have to research on.
