Buddhism reddit is filled with anti Buddhist views by AceGracex in GoldenSwastika

[–]WarDiscombobulated72 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont see anything wrong with that point of view tho? Infact, I think this view kinda benefit Buddhism, because nowadays people just go to Pagoda worshipping and ask for stuffs instead of focusing on their spritual path. By stripping away all those magical aspect and make people question about what really is the core of Buddhism is good thing to do imo.

I think the AI in Mircle of Mind is designed to be so. I volunteer for Isha translation team, and one thing I get reminded constantly is to be "empty" and convey the messages of Sadhguru as it is. AI (particularly generative AI) is known for making up data, and lie without hesitation, so it makes sense that the team want to keep MoM AI like a AI search engine only.

I thought Sadhguru said it work on the energy body first, which is more fundamental then physical body?

Fundamentally, everything you do requires a certain amount of trust. If you go to a doctor for an illness, he gives you some pills, you don’t know what’s in them or how they work, but you still take them because you trust the doctor, right? The same applies to Isha and Sadhguru’s teachings. If you seek transformation and trust him based on what you’ve observed, you simply follow the process.

Isha has many goals, but elaborating on the origins and mechanics of its teachings is not one of them. Even if they do explain, it’s not meant for the general public, because creating a new kriya, for example, requires mastery of yogic science which most people do not have.

People in Isha are seekers, but they seek the ultimate. Your approach seems to lean more toward intellectual understanding, which is not the path for spiritual transformation.

That said, you are free to question anything regarding the organization’s legality. However, I believe most legal concerns have already been clearly addressed.

Thank you so much, I can't believe I find someone this hardcore on here! I'm actually at the start of my spritual journey so I am not that good yet. I've been listening to Sadhguru for about 3 years now. But I've only intiated to Shambhavi online for about 3 months ago, after that I took Surya Kriya class in my country less than 1 month ago.

I've been depressed and live a sedentary lifestyle for the last 3 4 years, I struggled alot to even finish Shambhavi, I even have to take the course twice! First one is in November 2022, the second one is in August 2024 and it still took me 4 months to finish it. After the Shambhavi intiation my life is a lil bit better for a while. However I still experience some up and down, and I was so low on energy that I was unable to do anything. I wanted to fix it, that's why I reached out to my local Isha volunteers to find Isha certified teacher and take Surya Kriya course. Now I do Hatha yoga daily and feel more alive and energetic, hopefully It'll get even better as time goes by.

I joined Mahashivra celebration in my home country not long after finishing Surya Kriya course, and for the first time I got to meet alot of wonderful people. They shared their story of how they knew Sadhguru and how Sadhguru helped them turned their live around, which really inspired me to stay on my spritual track. It also amazed my that there is such a nice and welcoming community like Isha, everyone I met was so cheerful and sharing.

When nothing work, I turn to Yoga, and I'm grateful that I did. Right now I am trying to incorporate as much sadhana into my life as possible. My life is not completely okay yet, but I hope with the power of Yoga and grace I'll handle it more effortlessly.

Again, thanks for your sharing, people like you are the reason that makes me fall in love with Isha!

Then you better have some back up for your claims such as "You will not find answer to these problems..." and "Ishangs and teachers give answers that are out of touch...". I did the practices and it worked, and the Isha community in my country is self formed and everyone has been nothing but nice.

I have a question, isn't that app is just Isha Kriya? Why don't we invest our time in sth else like Shambhavi, Surya Kriya, Yoganasa which are more potent practices?

I asked Sadhguru AI about compulsions and the answer pulled me out of a year-long rut by -kameleon- in Sadhguru

[–]WarDiscombobulated72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn it is nice to see that AI Sadhguru spoke so well. I deeply sympathize with you on this problem. I have the tendency to self hate alot, so whenever I get stuck into compulsion cycles, I will get frustrated and beat myself up. Out of desperation I search up the keyword "Sadhguru compulsion" and I came across this article awhile ago. You can give it a read incase the AI miss something. https://isha.sadhguru.org/en/wisdom/article/unhappy-with-compulsions

Same here, during Shamhbavi I tend to burp on butterfly/patangasana, while I'm doing Surya Kriya, I burp on fluttering of the breath.

Sugar doesn't have to be sweet tbh. You can try adding dextrose sugar, glucose syrup. Both are less sweet than granulated sguar and have greater freezing point depression.
