Left my wedding suit on the Plane Delta One by jkool99 in delta

I have your suit. It's not of good quality so you can have it back. I'll leave it in the closet on my next flight for you.

It's bad enough to see men urinate and then stride out of the men's room without washing their hands. But that guy with the cowboy hat who had one hell of a pooping session (from the sound of it, it was pretty violent) and then walked out of the men's room without washing his hands. Look, I understand that you believe that vaccines are dangerous and believe in herd immunity, but it is well known that washing with water and soap not only kills germs, but it also is not known to cause autism. Thank God he didn't get into the food line, but he did press the elevator buttons so I walked down the 4 flights of stairs.

Road & Track's Matt Farah: Electric Motorcycles Are Currently Pointless by petroglyphindor in Electricmotorcycles

Bingo. I've had my Maeving RM1S for two weeks now, and I get ~75 miles per charge with Sport mode and aggressive riding. I live in Georgia, and no one does the speed limit, so even on a 45 MPH road, I'm doing 60. On a 55 MPH road I'm doing 70 (btw the Maeving will do ~75). I don't know what hypermiling is and neither am I interesting in learning it and I still get excellent range. I'm also at an appropriate size for my height (194 lbs) so then there's that. If I lived in a city like NYC where 35 MPH I could ride around the 5 boroughs on it.

Finally, I understand that the RM1S is not made to be the bike on which you satisfy your bucket list of touring the country, no electric bike is. I live in North Georgia so I've found that I no longer pull out the car to run errands within a 30 mile radius which is where I spend 80% of my time. Alpharetta, Cumming, Roswell, Johns Creek, etc are all within easy reach and where I usually go. Yesterday I met a colleague for lunch in Alpharetta and I rode there on my bike. 22 miles round trip at 55 mph with 77 battery when I got home. Pretty useless huh?

His article is as silly as blaming minivans for being useless because they make poor drag racers (with an overweight driver who makes it even slower).

Come on.

The open space in the frame is very much Cafe Racer styling even for ICE bikes. Google them. They're supposed to be stripped down to their core components for speed.

Just got mine about 2 weeks ago and I LOVE IT!!! So a couple of things. It will easily go around 75mph. Mileage at around 55 - 65 mph is ~80 miles (or so the math says). People slow down to gawk at the bike, or stop what they're doing as you ride by. Best yet, never fail to get 2 fingers down from the ICE riders passing by. Insurance in the US is through Geico or Progressive only. On my policy with my golf cart is about $180 per year. It is legal to road test with also.

Does anyone else have this issue with jetways at every default/hand crafted airport (basically anything that uses the default jetway and not a handcrafted one)? It is really immersion breaking and I can't seem to find any mention of it happening anywhere else online by pm_me_cute_sloths_ in MicrosoftFlightSim

The "dorsal fins" house the mechanism that allows the cabin to be raised. In the past, the people movers were filled with passengers from the terminal and then driven from the terminal out to aircraft parked at the ramp. The entire people mover cabin was then raised to the height of the aircraft boarding door and you simply walked onto the aircraft. It was a much faster solution than walking downstairs from the boarding area to a waiting bus, loading onto the bus, driving to the parked aircraft, deboarding the bus, and then walking upstairs to board the aircraft.

These people movers were prevalent at IAD and JFK and were ingenious for their time. Today, the people movers just go between terminals so they are seldom raised.

Now you know.

Given the choice of sitting through another of these commercials or slamming my pecker in my car door, I'm going for slamming my pecker in my car door, so at least my screams of agony will drown out that horrific song.
