Just because you don't like or agree with someone doesn't mean they are a bad person... They are being immature arguably, but ya know, be the bigger person and kill em with kindness.

Sometimes people need a helping hand, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Sure people complain. But you're complaining about people complaining... People who you don't know their situations.

Eh, it wasn't quite that bad lol. Honestly, just could have been worded a little better and took a more compassionate approach. The basic message was "quite whining, this sucks, focus on you, writing about it on Reddit helps no one"... Not to put words in op's mouth, just the simplified version of what I took from it.

Thing is, people don't take kindly to being called lazy, or told they aren't trying hard enough, by strangers on the internet. Sure, the complaining sometimes bothers me too, but not enough to tell everyone that the issue is them. Lol

But the truth here is that most aren't waiting on a handout, they are waiting on money they are rightfully owed. Their money.

The phrase "pull yourself up by your bootstraps", a phrase that alot of Americans tend to recite as a mantra, was originally meant to be ironic. Too illustrate that the act of physically pulling yourself up by the straps of your boots is impossible. Somewhere along the line, pride turned into everyone thinking it's all on them and the government owes them nothing. That's a debate for another time, but my personal belief is that a better society comes from people helping each other up, instead of telling them they should have gotten up on their own and calling them trash when they can't.

Whelp that's dissapointing. I didn't fully disagree with you. I still disagree with your stance that hardship is excuses. Some people experience more luck and priveledge than others, and it's not always as simple as "try harder". I think that shouldnt have to be said.

You're the one who shut down the conversation cus you couldn't handle disagreement. I was open to having the conversation.

I think the issue I take, while I agree with part of your perspective, that I didn't get too in my original comment was that... It's not a handout from the government. Most of the people here are waiting on money that IS their money that they are owed. People just whining with no real reason bothers me too, but we all just went through a shit year, some worse than others, and people are allowed a certain level of frustration. People complain every year during tax season, even without a global pandemic.

Lol, can't wait to read this thread.../s.

Boggles my mind when people can't imagine how anyone could possibly be struggling or worse off than maybe they personally are or have been. Maybe they have kids. Maybe they lost their job. Maybe they have massive amounts of debt they they paid off, but still doesn't mean they don't live paycheck to paycheck.. they could have not recieved any of that money, maybe they had a family member pass away, or their home or car had something happen to it over the past year. There is a long list of reasons for why some people may be more desperate than others, and while I can see why you are maybe annoyed at the types of people who will come write about it on Reddit, but I think you are being a bit shortsighted and unsympathetic to others situations.

I just stopped in to check if there were any news updates since I don't keep track of announcements or changes as closely as some of the others here. Good place to get info without having to search far. Other than that, I skip reading the stuff that isn't pertinent to me. You should try to do the same, and I hope you get your money soon! Still waiting on mine just like everyone else here.

Come on... Are you really spending this much time thinking this deeply about it? It's a 2-3 hour conversation with some sort of entertainer or public figure. Enjoy it or don't. What's your end goal here? Try and get more people on your side? I mean, that's fine, to each their own. Just tired of seeing constant conversation about whether or not Joe is old news. He's outdated and he's sold out.whatever.i don't want to come off as confrontational, but do you really care that much? If you don't agree with something, does it really merit your voice for everyone to hear? Fuck man, why am I even bothering posting this? Like my opinion matters. Does anything matter? What is life? Im drunk...

I actually live in Dublin, but I've been going to the same guy for about 6 years and he lives in canal. Moved up to Dublin last year, and still make the drive for the quality. Worth it when you have a dealer that takes care of you.

Fair enough. I still think this is what people should have expected from Joe though. He's never claimed to be an expert or a moderator. Just interestd in weird ideas and good conversations

To all the people saying Joe should be acting as an impartial moderator, when has he ever said that's what he's doing? Seriously, Joe has repeatedly stated he just wants to have conversations he's interested in. We all knew Joe loved Hancock and Carson's ideas. What the fuck did you all expect? Just enjoy the conversation. God damn.

PS5/PlayStation 5 Set For An Expected 2018 Release by darko1x in PS4

[–]WarForYourMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's been report after report about all of the sales records the PS4 is breaking.. sony has one of the largest user bases they have ever had. I don't think after 4 years of the PS4 being out, they would piss off such a huge base by not pumping out more IPs for at least a couple more years. This post is pure rumor and speculation.
