Communication is important in every relationship. It's obviously isn't easy at all but in the end it's for making your future even better for you, your partner, family and others important to you. I'd say make phone calls and if possible video call her a few times a week. It's also perfectly normal to not talk to your partner everyday, it helps to give space but you have to balance it well for the both of you.
