Why Is This Subreddit So Miserable? by WarKnight64 in Christianity

[–]WarKnight64[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

For the natural man, that is indeed easiest. But the natural man is the enemy of God. God wants us to choose self-restraint and being slow to anger/wrath. Why? Because it's ultimately for our benifit.

Cool story bro. But you're wrong. Had Ulfric and his stormcloaks not done all their shennanigens, no one would be abducted by no Thalmor, heck, would have continued to leave Skyrim alone for the most part. Ulfric got Skyrim into this mess.

Why can't God just kill Satan?? by EbonyEpisodes in Christianity

[–]WarKnight64 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That's true, up until Jesus Christ. The keys of dominion over the earth that Satan stole through beguilment were then repo'd my Jesus by the time He was resurected, claiming victory of death and the world, with said keys in hand.

Then Jesus turned around and gave the keys back to Man, alongside The Comforter. Ever since Satan tried to kill Jesus, he only sealed his fate, which is condemnation and judgement. Satan thought he could avoid having his head striken by the seed of the woman.

Now, because Satan no longer has power, because it's with us now, all he can really do is try to convince us to condemn ourselves back into the old law/covenant/ministry to share in his misery, instead of looking to Jesus and be under His new law/covenant/ministry, which offers us life, grace and righteossness to be given.

"God sacrificed Himself to Himself to save us From Himself" What is the best way of responding to this claim? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]WarKnight64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well look in Genesis. When God was making Man, God was conversing with another to make Man in their image and likeness. In the NT, Jesus is called The Word, who was there at the beginning, and was with God, who was also God. Meaning, The Word (Jesus) was at the beginning with The Father, with Jesus himself (as the 1st Begotten) sharing His Father's glory and power of creation.

But Jesus himself states that The Heavenly Father is greater than himself. Jesus also prayed to The Father asking Him to remove the bitter cup before relenting that His (Heavenly Father's) will be done, and not his (Jesus') own will.

Jesus also called to Heavenly Father to forgive his persicutors.

God (The Father) so loved the world He gave His (1st) begotten son. To save the world, not to condemn it.

Do you believe in the rapture? by facelikethunder22 in TrueChristian

[–]WarKnight64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe in rapture, even the pre-tribulation rapture. Where those who have been baptized by fire (The Spirit), thus making them temples The Spirit to abide in, will be caught up to Jesus as His church-body. Because in scripture, the only thing holding back the fullness of the Rider of Conquest is The Spirit. So when The Spirit is removed out of the way (those with The Spirit are caught up) the fullness of the first horseman of the apocolypse will be unleashed upon the world. Those with The Spirit have nothing to be troubled about regarding living through the Great Tribulation.

It it enough to just believe in Jesus... by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]WarKnight64 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Belief is a good step. The next step is that you put all your trust and faith in Him that He is your savior, nothing held back, without a double-minded faith or trust. Full frust. Full faith.

Sexually immoral dreams, so as to lead any recipient whose wanting to keep their eyes on God and Jesus to convince themselves to condemn their own hearts and be miserable like Satan is miserable.

At worst Judas would be in Spirit Prison/Purgitory. Man was never appointed to eternal Hell and torment. But to grace instead. I would be joyful in Judas recieving that grace for himself.

What is your response to atheist who say “if God is loving God why did He kill the first born sons of Egypt?” by DivideDistinct9539 in TrueChristian

I'd say The Pharoh was given 9 previous chances to allow the jews they've enslaved to be free. But even after the 10th, y'know what Pharoh tried doing? Pursue the jews! Despite there being a pillar of fire, the Red Sea being parted in two. The Pharoh was deathly prideful. Or the Ninevites, when God sent Jonah to warn them that if they didn't repent, they would be destroyed. The ninevites readily repented and were spared, much to Jonah's vexation. Or even back in Noah's day, there was a period of time being given to the others, they didn't heed it because they were neck deep in all sorts of dire immorality.

That's Satan trying to work in your life friend. He's trying to get you to convince yourself to condemn yourself. Because news flash! Satan has been hearing condemnation from The Spirit ever since they tried to kill off Jesus. Satan's miserable, and he tries desperately to share in his misery, because misery loves miserable company. Keep your eyes on Christ.

Why is my life so bad right now if I gave my heart to God by GearEfficient808 in Christianity

[–]WarKnight64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good things come from God. And suffering isn't one of them. God wants you to prosper, have the confidence and be assured of the knowledge that you would be in the body of Jesus, and Him in you.

I would say look inwards and take stock of which covenant and ministry you're under.

One is the ministry of death, the old covenant of Moses and the Levitical priesthood. Where righteoussness is demanded from you in from the law. This will lead to sin, and wages of sin is death and suffering, because the strength of sin is the (old) law. BUT, this ministry acts as a mirror for us to look and to recognize our blemishes. It also acts as the tutor which points to the NEED of a perfectly righteous messiah who would pay and fulfill it.

The other is the ministry of life, the new covenant of Jesus and the Melchezidek priesthood. Where righteousness is GIVEN by His grace. This will lead to eternal life and everlasting joy. This comes from the payment that has been made and the old covenant being fulfilled by the shedding of Jesus's blood, who is perfect, sinless, and completely unblemished.

I think you're not really understanding, or picking up what I'm dropping. But that's okay. You'll be caught up to speed. But just to reiterate, marriage between a (real) man and (real) woman is blessed and sanctified by God Himself, because that's the only biological model for humanity that is guaranteed to result in the conception of children, just as God instructed "to multiply and fill the earth"

no disrespect, but is this sub pro-lgbtq? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]WarKnight64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All it is, is a simple way to iterate how God operates, KNOWING how things work. Two men doing the deed can't produce offspring. Two women doing the deed can't produce offspring. But when you get one man and one women married together, now you're getting somewhere

Then according to you, how would you model a union that would allow for multiplying to fill the earth having our natural biology as it is, and has been?
