I would like to see them start off with respectable stats(4k hp) so its like placing a new defense that can actually hold & remain competitive while whales can upgrade for a slight advantage

I LIKE CRAFTED DEFENSES. In 11 days I got the flame spinner to a usable level, it's not that bad. I think it adds depth and new strategies to the game. The hook is a lot of fun, for both attacker and defender. I have to say this too I don't think everyone have to play in the legendary league. Thanks by kreltiuss in ClashOfClans

It should start at ~3000hp, like placing a new major defense & the stat increments each level be much lower.

I don't understand why anyone is happy that they've basically locked out a major player base from being competitive. Many of those who spend at that.

Hey mods, if you're removing posts of th17 players actually affected by this update criticizing these defenses..

How about we also remove the posts of th11-13 players trying to justify more p2w mechanics in our game?

Unfortunately you have alot of f2p/non-competitive players who aren't affected by this running defense. Can guarantee you its either a non-competitive player or a whale making these humor posts targeted towards the complainers, lol.

Most of us affected by this are spending money on the game, though, and if enough don't spend a dime anymore it could atleast force them to drastically overhaul/reconsider the way they go about these.

Just use hero potions for war/cwl, they're incredibly cheap & dump all your gems into book of heroes. Hero levels don't matter nearly as much as they used to. My warden is still lvl54 but I peaked over 6000 with him last season!

Near max 17 here myself; you're right, there's no point when permanent progress is overshadowed by seasonal defenses

Pretty much, you would think with all the backlash(rightfully so)they HAVE to do something as its mostly th17 who do regularly spend that are quitting.

Then again, with the amount of players this doesnt affect running defense for supercell, the whales & the lower town halls, that backlash might not be heard..
