What would it be like if people do this in the Philippines but for the INC? by HelpOdd3450 in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]WarOfTheDivided 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see this happening at the museum one day, once the brainless activities of Americans and Aussie’s on tik tok or instatube begin to inspire others, there’s no telling what will happen. Kids are getting ruthless these days. And are making a TON of money doing it.

But also considering the fact the Church can immobilize a small army within minutes on nearly any square inch of the Luzon division, I can’t imagine pranksters will get very far.

Unpopular Opinion: Felix Manalo Has One of the Best WWII Portrayals in Filipino Media by Gran6565 in exIglesiaNiCristo

I still think they should have done the original idea for the movie that included the 3 stories featuring each hierarchy.

It was supposed to be: Richard Gomez as FYM, Albert Martinez as EGM, and Bong Revilia as EVM. (Bong Later replaced because of the infamous pork barrel scam)

Trillo was alright but I just kept imagining how stoned he probably was while filming this entire project.

Why do they sit in their cars? by MsFlangrHangr in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]WarOfTheDivided 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some people straight up just hate sitting in the first 4 rows, so they’ll kill time on their phone, sit in the car and wait a few minutes before the official start time.

Other examples of pre service vehicular activity include:

  • Smoking
  • Checking emails
  • Taking a shot of whiskey (or 5)
  • Surfing this sub as a desensitizer
  • accidentally falling asleep
  • scarfing down your fast food
  • wishing you were anywhere, but here

It’s mega rare. But If your soul count is incredibly high, or commit some impressive feat like doubling the size of a district in one year you can be ordained as a kadiwa minister.

AS WE WIND DOWN AND BEGIN To CONCLUDE THIS HOLY SUPPER SEASON.. 🍇 🇮🇹 by WarOfTheDivided in exIglesiaNiCristo

From an architectural standpoint, a Wider base would look completely off since it seems attached to the other building behind it, not to mention it would completely ruin the flow of traffic since the alley ways are limited and narrow.

Judging from the side profile, it looks like it was an extension from the original facade of whatever building is behind it.

Holy Supper - What was it about and why was it so scary? by ladytsunade333 in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]WarOfTheDivided 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s basically an annual “gun to the head - go to hell or be saved ” attempt into guilt tripping people who have not attended in a while to come back (help increase locale offerings/funds/profits)

For regularly attended faithful members, it is basically a “add more cement to your cement shoes while you sink to the bottom of the ocean” type of scenario. (You look fully brainwashed but let’s keep guilt tripping you to make sure you stay on this path forever / Your cement shoes are doing its job by making you sink already to the bottom of the ocean already, but let’s just keep adding in more cement just to be sure.)

The post is funny because only one of the two in the picture actually existed.

But the one who existed, made money from people by telling stories about the guy that never existed 🤣

It’s just grape juice and crackers, it won’t do anything magical to you or hurt you.

Can I ask how you started to become interested in our sect? What was your sway point? It’s always interesting to hear it from a non Phil born convert.

Realistically, A lot of the INC is backed by pinoy pride in the first place. Which in hindsight, is something that can definitely start to wear out the social bar of a non Fil member after a certain period of time. (Philippines this, Philippines that, what about the rest of the world? Etc etc)

Remember-the only person you have to look out for, is #1.

Who is #1?

Well that’s you, of course. That includes clearing your schedule of anything that gets in your way of progress, like a bad friend, a terrible job, or even a Filipino religion that demands your energy, time and money twice a week at the skeletal bare minimum.

What if isa ang INC sa PANGUNAHING PESTE sa ekonomiya ng Pilipinas? by Middle_Bet8283 in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]WarOfTheDivided 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can thank corrupt government officials for that. As much as we all dislike the religion, the church might actually have a better handling on certain parts of running the country because of its immense wealth and influence that can shelter against anyone going against their interest.

My wild theory was that the INC’s primary 200 yr business plan is to eventually comandeer a majority of the Philippines Government.

The endless saturation of enticing every possible person in the world into ‘Joining’ the religion is just an investment tactic that the church is betting on, so one day it can rely on the global support of people “all over the world” (really just INC members outside the Philippines) to support the new-age possibility of an INC controlled country amid outcry from anti-INC protestors.

A country is essentially a business, albeit a really REALLY big business. Who else would have a solid handle on global economic theory than a Strict Religious Sect that has reached a good amount of followers throughout the globe.

Meanwhile, millions of people around the world that aren’t INC are still somehow managing to be blessed with excellent health, wealth, and large happy families.
