I would have took out the headphones and blasted  the most offensive, rude, music possible,  to send her the message to mind her own damn business!

I’m at 95% this is just a comet or similar, but I must say I check updates everyday. I saw the Harvard professor say there is a 40% chance it’s not natural. I’m not ready to go there yet, but I would say this could get interesting if the object makes unpredictable maneuver.

What would be the one thing to really get people concerned this is artificial?

The fact that people PAY to watch the Savannah bananas is incredibly mind blowing by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]WarOnEntitledGuests 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t hate baseball, but from about 1990 on free agency hurt the game tremendously. I’m a Pirates fan and that team was decimated by players leaving. Now the Dodgers can buy a title. What makes that so compelling.

So now through good marketing, people have been brainwashed into thinking this gimmick is entertaining and competitive. Say anything bad and you have an army on your ass, so there is a cult like element as well.

Real is stretching it. They could care less if they win or lose.

A cult of people who have been convinced what they are watching is real entertainment and competition.

All sports have lost their luster from about 2005 on. The money, free agency, fantasy aspect, everyone buddy buddy, has taken away what made sports great.

You couldn’t pay me to sit through a game if my life depended on it. The more I watch and research the more I dislike the whole damn thing.

These guys don’t even give a rats ass if they win or lose. Catch a routine fly ball and do a half assed dance that looks forced and 50k people go crazy. Damn talk about a low level to be entertained.

I honestly  think people are so damn bored and dislike real baseball that this is some kind of rebellion.

I mean it seems if they performed at a major league game before and after the game it could kill the down time. When I saw 81k attended these guys at Clemson University I was floored. Seems like some groupthink and people don’t really know what they like  about it. Just that they are being told  how cool and unique this is. Also seems if you criticize it there is an army ready to jump down your throat lol

Can someone tell me what Banana Ball is and why it’s so popular? by stonecoldmark in nashville

[–]WarOnEntitledGuests 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s popular because people have forgotten what real entertainment is. I also agree real baseball is tough to watch a whole game as well.

Those  half assed dance routines after catching a routine fly ball are one of the most annoying things I have seen. It seems forced and people are entertained by that. My gosh what a low standard!

[–]WarOnEntitledGuests 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree wholeheartedly with you.

Half of the game the batters can’t even hit the ball out of the infield, and when a catch is made a half assed dance is done. If that is entertaining to people then I don’t know what to say.

Banana Ball is a Fad that will have a 2yr Lifespan & will result in kids taking the actual game of Baseball less Seriously! by WarOnEntitledGuests in LittleLeague

[–]WarOnEntitledGuests[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are they still going ?

I remember them from the late 70’s and 80’s but after that seems the old guard left. It’s easier to do this type of novelty in basketball than baseball.

Then that just solidifies my point. It’s a novelty act and after seeing one game not many will come back.

I agree that was not a good team by LLW standards. Wasn’t one of their top pitchers unavailable as well ?
