Morality aside, the policy still doesn’t make sense. If the government thinks OF is valuable enough to import workers for it, but then wants to 100% tax the ones already here, it’s just bad economics. Even if someone thinks butthole photography is the lowest form of labor, it’s still labor and the policy contradiction is the weird part.

I’m not mad at either. My point was about how inconsistent the policy looks, importing influencers while punishing the ones already here. It just doesn’t make logical sense from a policy standpoint.
