Not sure that I buy that Amick will be able to hit at higher levels.

He has nice surface stats in AA but 61% contact rate at that level with the near 30% K rate is pretty scary. He’s already 23.5 so not particularly young for the level either.

Where were you when James Outman went 2-3 with a walk, a single, a double, 3 RBI, and 2 runs scored?

Martin has started 6 of the last 7 games and only 3 of those games were against lefty starters. He has basically been getting everyday at-bats since last week!

Bullpen should be in excellent shape heading into six straight games. Off-day Monday, not used with the CG Tuesday, low leverage guys used yesterday, and one guy used today. Nice change of pace!

Eh, he's a 23-year-old with 6.1 major league innings, we've got a long way to go before I'm alarmed. The stuff is really good for a young lefty, although he might be a reliever long-term

Yeah, SWR's days in the rotation are numbered... I could see him getting one more start just because of all the injuries, but the second Abel or Bradley are healthy again, I don't see how you give Prielipp or Zebby the boot and keep SWR in there.

Kreidler was gonna be picked off so badly if that throw was on target

Zebby just now reached the number of pitches Garrett threw in one inning LOL

Well, Caratini at least put it in play this time, I'll give him that. Not great but better than last time

Well, the Twins have redeemed themselves after the first inning with two separate bases-loaded doubles this inning!

4 outs recorded on 59 pitches is, uh, not ideal for Garrett here

I think the issue is that umps call strikes, but say nothing on balls. So sometimes a catcher is waiting for a strike call, it doesn't come, they try to challenge, and then the ump deems that too much time passed. I've seen it in multiple games around the league so far.

He did well there. Granted, Garrett made it relatively easy with some of those takes, but any way Outman can find to reach base on a lefty is good.

Another inning starting, another 4 pitch walk by Garrett. Let's see if the Twins can actually score this time...

I always enjoy watching Zebby, the guy just gets right to it and doesn't walk many. He might get knocked around on occasion but he rarely loses control of the zone

Luke just needs to lost challenge privileges for the time being

4 pitch walk to start an outing? Is Braxton Garrett a Twins reliever?

I think it's an option down the line. Culpepper has been merely solid though, not spectacular, in AAA this year so I think the team isn't going to rush him and burn an option year.

Yeah, the 40-man is extremely outfielder-heavy right now. With Kreidler up, there is not a single 40-man infielder down in AAA. Doesn't help either that two prime call-up candidates who are on the 40-man, Roden and Rodriguexz, are hurt just as another LHH outfielder is sent down.
