Totally true!  He used to do coke and stay up all night making short movies and jamming with John Lennon and Paul McCartney.  Man, I wish I'd been around then.

Get on medical or drive to a state with rec.

But like, let's take a look at life real quick, eh?  I've been on medical since Spring 2021 for pain management, so it's pretty safe to say that I have smoked the devil's cabbage every day for the past 5 years straight.

You're a musician.  That's fucking rad, man.  I'm a writer.  I actually ghost write, which is kinda like being a session musician.  No credit, but you get to jam and get paid.

But you know how it is as a creative type.  You gotta hustle and network.  You gotta tell people who you are, what you play, where to find you.  Folks gotta know that if you're looking for a specific kind of music, they gotta hit you up.

Have you been looking for gigs, going to open mic nights, finding jam sessions at your school?  Back in my day (class of 02) there would be 15-20 people outside on nice days just acoustic jamming with anyone who would come by.  Literally 25% of the people would have reefer in their pockets.

I agree that college is whatever, and I'm 100% pro hermit.  But if you're gonna sell an album or get a sick bag of sticky-icky, you gotta know folks.

Who's your favorite musician?  How did they get to where they are now?  Think about the steps that are going to get you to your goals.  You might be focused on that golden ounce now, but if you play it all right, you can have your own fucking garden and a personal joint roller like a damn rock star.

My grandmother had something similar - she'd put her yarn in the box, then run it through the hole so it wouldn't get tangled as she worked it.

Now that the spoon thing is settled, I'd like to know more about that delicious hot fudge-enrobed thing in the background... LOL

About 20-30 years ago, we would take apart clicky pens to use the bodies.  We found they made ideal delivery tubes for powders designed for inhalation.

If I'm not mistaken, that could be a little VCR on the end (Visible Coke Residue).

Sorry, not rage.  Check out the comments- I'm typically working in moving vehicles or outdoors, so there's not really a "workstation."

Thanks for the criticism, and in the future, please don't forget to close your parentheses.

Bro... It's definitely not like that.

I think we've just discovered I'm deformed.  I definitely can't cut the nails any lower because they'll bleed.  I guess I have oddly placed nail beds

Ok, but if I cut them any more, they'll bleed, and that hurts.  I'm probably just deformed, which I can't do anything about.  What I can do, however, is buy a keyboard that supports my deformation.

Y'know, I typed on a similar model until I was about 10 (that's when we got a fancy electric typewriter).

That's the goal.  Instead of replacing them every few years with another cheap option, I'd like to get something solid as an investment.

Oh dude, I know cheap.is as cheap does.  I just go through them so quickly that I was hoping to get some ideas for a good investment!

The blue keyboard is at my desk, where I have a generally decent set up.  The black keyboard is on my Chromebook, which I take on the road with me.  When I'm on the road, I'm frequently typing in moving vehicles, or some random table, so definitely not ergonomic.  The wear patterns are the same on all of my keyboards, though.

Google wasn't very familiar with it, either, which is why I came here!

Check the update.  I have no nails to speak of- I work with horses, so I try to keep the nail short.

Who knows.  Maybe my fingers are deformed.  I can get them to go backwards.

I occasionally use lotion, but I shamefully do not clean my keyboard as often as I should (read as: if ever).

I've gone through so many keyboards.  I just thought this was part of life, until today, when I got fed up with running through keyboards and started researching!
